"You should have told him!" Seungmin snapped loudly, looking at Chan and Minho in anger. They were inside a police van which had several screens and two speaker which showed everything that was being recorded in Hyunjin's necklace.
"He w-would have r-refused" Chan sobbed, holding his head in hands. It was just too much pain for him.

"That would have been his choice at least!" The younger replied.
"But then we all would have suffered for the rest of our lives. I don't want him to live a life full of suffocation and fear. T-This was the only way to solve anything." Chan replied, his body shaking with his cries.
"He is going to be okay." Minho said, his hand on Chan's shoulder to show his support while looking at the screen showed Hyunjin's view which for now only consisted of the big lawn of Minhyuk's house which was covered with a thick layer of snow. It was just where Chan left him.

"He is right, Seungmin. Hyunjin wouldn't have gone. He knows him better than anyone else. You think he liked the idea of leaving Hyunjin like that? It is hard for him too. Try to understand. He loves that boy!" Minho said, his tone a little sharp. Seugnmin sighed and looked down, shaking his head. He wasn't able to accept the fact that Chan had really left Hyunjin like that all for Minhyuk without telling him. He knew it himself that what Chan did was right, but it was just too much to take in for him.

"I will be outside with the team. Give me the signal and I will go in with everyone." Seungmin said, sharing a strong eye contact with Minho before exiting the van.
"Did you text Minhyuk like I asked you to?" Minho asked, his voice gentle as ever.
"Yes." Chan replied deadly. The younger just smiled at him to provide as much comfort as he could.

Chan looked like his soul had left his body. His face was pale, covered with nothing but tears, his voice carried a monotone that could break the heart of the coldest man in this world. Not to forget, his eyes, they looked as if they belonged toa dead man as Chan continued to stare at nothing in particular.

There were only two more men inside with them in the van who were controlling the devices. Even they felt their hearts breaking when they heard Chan let out loud sobs filled with guilt and pain.
"If only there had been another way." Chan whispered to himself, resting his head on the window glass behind him.
