"Hyunjin." Chan's voice betrayed him as soon as the word left his mouth. Hyunjin was lying in front of him looking weaker than ever. He wondered if he was the same Hyunjin he left alone in the hotel before the Sakura Group kidnapped him. His legs were shaking as he took small steps towards the sleeping boy.

Chan kneeled beside the bed and reached for Hyunjin with his right hand. He slowly brushed his hair away from his face as he stared at the boy's face like he was the most precious thing ever.
"I am s-sorry." He whispered as a trail of hot tears slid down his cheeks.
"I am so sorry." His voice was betraying him as only sobs cam out of his throat.

He saw how Hyunjin furrowed his brows and shook a little, still resisting to wake up.
"I am sorry." Chan repeated himself and he broke down on the floor. He just realized that all this time it wasn't anger that has been keeping him awake at night. It was his guilt. He felt guilty towards Hyunjin for not being there for the boy even when he promised to never leave him. He feels guilty for the fact that Hyunjin had to suffer just because of him leaving that day. He wishes to make everything right again, but he knows he can't change anything now.

Chan pulled his hand away from the boy, feeling so guilty that he thought he didn't deserve to even touch him. His vision was instantly blurred with tears that won't stop even if he wanted them to. Chan's body shook wildly as he started to bawl out on the floor near Hyunjin's bed right then and there. He just felt so guilty and there was no other way to take it all out. If only there was a way to make everything right, if only he had not left Hyunjin alone that day.

"Hyung." An almost inaudible voice interrupted his misery. Chan sniffled and looked up from the ground to see a hand reaching out for him weakly. He immediately grabbed that hand with his both hands, wanting to give Hyunjin all he could. His heart ached more as he made an eye contact with Hyunjin's through his half-opened eyelids. A feel of nostalgia overwhelmed him as soon as he touched Hyunjin's soft hand. He held them gently as if Hyunjin could break any moment.

"Hyunjin." Chan's mouth was working on its own as soon as he saw the beautiful brown eyes boring into his soul. He somehow started to feel weaker than Hyunjin under his loving gaze. He felt his insides ripping as the younger's lips slowly curved into a small smile. How can he not die for that smile?
"Hyung." Hyunjin said again and tightened his grip on Chan's hand as much as he could with his little strength.
"You're here." He rasped out weakly, making Chan cry even more. The older just nodded, not trusting his voice even a little.

"I am sorry." Chan repeated himself, trying to get rid of his regrets. His breath stopped when Hyunjin pulled away from his hands only to reach for his face. He slowly caressed Chan's cheek, feeling happy to finally get the little touches that he has been craving all this time. The older instantly leaned in his touch and kept his one palm over Hyunjin's hand and other wrapped around his wrist so that he wouldn't be able to ever take it away from him.

Hyunjin slowly wiped the tears streaming down his face with his thumb and shook his head slowly. For him, it was never Chan's fault. He hated the fact that Chan was crying and apologizing like that.
"No." He whispered and smiled more. His heart swelled at the view of just Chan being there, being near him. He was happy just with that only. He did not even need an apology from him.

"I missed you." Hyunjin said and turned around on the bed, giving space to Chan so that he does not have to sit at the floor. Chan immediately understood his actions and got on the bed without saying anything. He lied next to Hyunjin even though the space he was lying on was too small to even fit half of him. But he wasn't complaining, he was just happy to be close to Hyunjin again.
