For security reasons the wedding breakfast and after party was being held at Arrow House. Amelia had told herself over and over again that it was fine, it was just a house but it still stung as they pulled up the driveway.

As soon as she saw the fountain she looked away, the memory becoming a painful jab in her side. All she had to do was stay for a short while before she left unnoticed.

Ada was the first to drag her in the house and push a glass of champagne in her hand. There where waiters everywhere handing out glasses of champagne and the Shelby gin.

"Drink up princess. We're going to need a lot more of this to get through this afternoon"

"You're not lying" she mumbled as she took a sip of her champagne. Even with white roses displayed everywhere Amelia still hated the interior in this house. Tommy clearly left it as it was when she left Birmingham.

"Have you girls seen Tommy?" Polly asked as she gently ushered them into a large ball room that was set up for the wedding breakfast.

"No, why?" Ada asked.

Polly shook her head "Don't worry, just let me know if you see him or Michael okay?"

"Yeah will do" Ada said before swiping another glass off a passing waiters tray.

The wedding breakfast was awkward to say the least. Amelia was placed on a table with some of Linda's family members at some of the Lee clan. Both parties refused to talk to each other so it only left her.

Johnny had been pushy with his flirting and even some of the Lee boys had taken to her. All she wanted to do was grab Ada, a bottle of champagne and walk the grounds. Instead she was making idle chit chat about the weather and the works that where starting on her burnt house.

As she let her eyes wander the room she couldn't help but notice how much Michael had changed since she was here three months ago, or how Lizzie was sat closer to the Shelby's than she was. It was clear that she was on the outskirts now.

"You looking for a boyfriend then?" Jackson, one of the Lee boys asked with a lopsided grin.

Amelia tried to be polite but frankly she was annoyed at his incessant drooling. Jackson was the type of man that thought every girl wanted him.

"No not really" she replied before taking a gulp of her champagne.

Ada across the room mouthed "hold on" with a smirk and Amelia nodded. Holding on was easy, holding back was harder. Amelia had never liked the way some men would drool over her. Attention was nice but acting like an idiot wasn't.

"Bloody hell I think you have drool on your dress" Ada joked as they slipped out of the ball room with a bottle of champagne, arm in arm.

"Thanks for saving me. I don't know how much longer I could hold out for" and Amelia took a large sip of the alcohol and passed it to Ada.

"Me and Polly had a bet. Polly said 2 hours before you dashed one with a drink" and Ada laughed before pulling her friend outside.

"Where are we going?" Amelia asked as she looked out to front of the house.

Ada suddenly waved a set of keys infront of her and began to smirk.

"Were going to take Arthur's new Bentley for a spin!"

"Can you even drive?" Amelia laughed as they made their way over to the brand new car that had been wedding present from Tommy.

"Nah but we can learn love"

Two hours later Ada and Amelia where completely drunk as they took Arthur's Bentley around the estate. Ada was a terrible driver, Amelia was pretty sure she was going to end up with a bad neck due to the constant sharp breaking.
