The city was empty, No one in sight. Until, dark clouds covered every inch of Ninjago City. The stone army general was unconscious and Darreth, Cole's father, and Jay's parents walked outside. "Heh. I told you they'd do it. Ooh." Darreth said.

"Oh, is it the ninja?" Jay's mom asked. "It must be." Cole's father said. "The ninja have won?" A little boy asked. "Haha. We're saved!" Cole's father said. "About time..." A little boy said. "Now to get this place back in order." Cole's father said.

The Overlord laughed, and appeared in front of them, "Oh. All right. You will have until the count of three to leave here before I unleash the power of one: Hee-yah! The dragon. Two: Penguin." Overlord rolled his eyes and aimed the laser guns at Darreth, "Two and a half--" Darreth said.

"Three." Overlord said as he shot it at Darreth, Darreth screamed and dodged it, "Haha. You missed- Oh, no." The laser shot at Darreth again and dodged it. "Aah!! Aah!!" Darreth screamed. The Overlord laughed and continued to shoot the lasers.

"We shall meet again. This I swear!" Darreth said and screamed when the laser almost shot him. "Where are those ninja?!" Darreth said, running away to a safe place. The Overlord began shooting out dark matter missiles in Ninjago City, making everyone evil.

-With you and the others-

I groaned and flew back towards the coast and landed. I sat down and panted. "Can I still fight?" Lloyd said, "Mmm, I'm sorry. That leg will take weeks to heal." Dr. Julian said. "We don't have weeks." Lloyd said. He winced and groaned in pain.

"Y/n, you're back." I looked at Sensei Wu and nodded, "Still can't get to Ninjago. At best, I could only go... a few miles before losing my energy." I caught my breath and stood up. Sensei nodded and looked back to Ninjago.

"The battle between good and evil will be decided today." Sensei Wu said. "And we can't even get to the fight. Much less get of this island." Kai threw a rock. Jay sighed, "I wonder if I'll ever get to see Nya again." Jay frowned.

"Perhaps it's best to think of our friends as we remember them in our hearts, not as they are now." Zane said, Lloyd then approached us, hopping on one leg. "But I don't remember my father any other way." Lloyd said. "Your father loved you. It was the evil of the Great Devourer that corrupted him."

"Sensei, I don't understand. The prophecy said the Green Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord." Kai threw another rock, "Why didn't he win?" Kai asked. "I...I don't know.." Sensei frowned. "Don't know? You're sensei! You always know. You have a long white beard!" Jay said.

"There must be some message to learn. A lesson. A word of wisdom. Just a word? Something..." Kai said. I frowned a bit and looked at the others, "For once, I'm afraid there is nothing to learn. Only that evil has won." Sensei said. I sighed,

"If sensei doesn't have a lesson, then I do. I used to be nothing but trouble, but then I met you guys. You took me in. Showed me the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong. And most importantly, being good." Lloyd stood on his injured foot and groaned.

"When this battle first began, when the first Spinjitzu master fought the Overlord and his back was up against a wall and he knew it was all over, did he quit? No. He found a way to keep the fight going. He passed his elemental powers to us. Of all people, a bunch of kids." I chuckled looked at Lloyd, "But there must've been a reason he chose us. I'd like to think it's because he knew we'd never back down, we'd never give up. We've learned the ancient way of the ninja. And ninja never quit." Lloyd finished his speech and I smiled.

"He's right. If that means we have to swim the sea to get off the island, then so be it." Kai walked towards the sea and went it in, he groaned and looked back. "The entire ocean?! But, I didn't bring my floaties." Jay said. "Well, if you got a better plan." Cole said. "I don't, but he may." Zane pointed at the falcon.
