"You did WHAT!" Millie whisper-yelled her eyes wide with shock, Sophia laughed "they were bound to do it sooner or later Millie, it ain't that deep."

"Hey guys" Ellie said awkwardly standing at the end of the table we all sat at eating breakfast, Sophia and Millie gave me a look and looked at Ellie "hey Ellie, you going to join us?"

"Sure, if that's okay with y'all?" She looks at the girls they perk their lips and raise their brows

"Yeah whatever, sit" Millie pulled the chair out, Ellie sat down slowly "thanks"

Sophia gives me a glare and I shrug "so what are we doing today? I heard the teacher said that we're leaving tomorrow because some kids are misbehaving..."

"Yeah, the bonfire and drinking ruined it all..." Millie sighed "but at least we can still enjoy today."

"True" we all said

"So Ellie, why did you want to come on the trip?" Sophia turns to her, she looked uncomfortable as she looked at me "I thought it would've been fun?"

"No shit." Millie mumbles

"She has a point though, why did any of us come anyway?" I budge in saving the awful tension between them all.

"Where's Jack?" Millie asked while looking at me

"He's showering back at the room" I say she nods "hopefully Talia left, hate her."

Ellie rolls her eyes "who doesn't hate her, she legit messed with my boyfriend."

"Who's your boyfriend?" Sophia asked with a surprised expression on she sunk in her chair "he's my ex now, but his name was George."

My jaw dropped, confused as hell I furrowed my eyebrows "hold on." I paused "you dated George? Talia cheated on Jack with him." I say

"Well I can see why they deserve each other. He wasn't the best boyfriend anyways, one time he slapped me." Ellie held back tears talking about it, I held my juice towards her.

"But wasn't your boyfriend from a different school?" Sophia questioned "George goes to our school."

"He moved schools after the whole Talia thing when he hit her, he was already seeing her when him and I were together." She explains

"Ohh, I see." Sophia sits back in her seat and looks at Millie, then me I shrug "here." I hand my juice to Ellie

She took it and smiled softly at me, it looked forced considering she was hurting over the topic we were discussing. "Thank you" her voice was quiet.

"Yeah of course, you helped me" I smiled

"With what?" Millie glances between us both I remembered I didn't tell them about what happened. "Uh Ellie was comforting me after my fight with Jack..."

"Ohh, did you do that out of guilt?" Millie's eyes narrowed at Ellie in suspicion, she shook her head "I felt bad, I never had any hate towards y/n I just was a tad jealous - that was hard to admit... But she has a good group of friends and an insanely cute boy who's crazy about her."

"It's not always a cake walk though, I hope you know that." I say "we have our ups and downs and it's harder when others are making those times even more difficult."

"Hey babe." Jack sits down beside me wrapping his arm around my shoulders "what'd I miss?"

"Girl talk." I lie

"Oh, are you okay?" He looks at me with concern, I nod assuringly "yeah you know, mensuration." I faked a smile

"Oh, do you need me to get anything for you?" He wondered "I can carry you back to the room-."

"No Jack, it's fine. I'm okay" I say patting his thigh he grabs my hand in his softly stroking it with his thumb "ok" he smiled

"I love you" I kiss his cheek

"I love you more"

Millie stole some food off my plate I glared at her "You..."

"Me?" She laughed "relax I'm the one paying for it all, my treat" she said

"Ok that's fair" I nod "I gotta go though, I'll catch you all later?"

"Yeah, of course" they say at the same time

I giggle and Jack helps me out of the booth, we walk back to the room holding hands it was a comfortable silence as we walked which was good since I didn't feel like talking.
