TWENTY-FOUR

"Hey, thanks for helping me pack, it means a lot." I smile at Sophia as she gathered some more of my clothes, "your welcome, I'll miss you."

"We will meet again soon." I promise her "you can come to visit me in Florida."

"You guys decided to move there after all?" She asked setting my clothes in a suitcase and grabbing more.

"Mm, yeah I mean where else would I go? Canada?" I laugh we both smile "have you told anyone else that you're leaving?"

I paused and thought about how happy everyone in our now broken up friend group would be, they all hated me so why bother letting them know?

"No... I haven't." I mumbled, "but they wouldn't care anyway."

"Bull" Sophia rolled her eyes "I'll be right back though I gotta use the restroom" she goes into my bathroom closing the door and locking it.

I sigh grabbing some photos from my vanity I see the printed sprocket photos of Jack and I and some I took of him when we first met basically, it was the fourth class of psychology when he and Talia were still together.

I honestly have no idea what the hell happened to Felicia or Nila like what the hell?

it didn't matter though I kind of dropped psych because of how mentally draining it was, Jack doesn't even know that I did but who cares.

"Ready to go?" my mom walked in with my dad, I haven't seen him in a while so it was shocking to me "yea, hey dad" I hugged him

"hi, I missed you" he kissed the top of my head "you torn about moving?"

"not at all, mom didn't tell you I was the one wanting to move?" I looked at her confused

"no, but why do you want to move?" he wonders "something happen?"

"Yeah, I'll explain it on the way there I just want to leave like right now." I exhale deeply looking around my packed up room, everything was in boxes or suitcases. My dad and mom helped me put my things in the Uhaul since I was the last one to get my belongings in there.

Sophia came back out and helped with some boxes "here" she handed me a box "thanks" I mumbled putting it in the trunk of my car since not everything could fit in the rented U-Haul truck.

"I guess this means goodbye, for now," I turn to Sophia, she smiled through her tears and hugged me tightly. "I love you, and I will miss you," she says

"you can always text me Soph" I laugh "I know" she mumbles "but I don't want you to leave."

"it was bound to happen at some point." I shake my head "don't worry, we'll keep in contact" I assure her getting into my car "bye"

"bye..." I start my car and follow my mom and dad in their vehicles

Third-person perspective [20 mins ago]

Sophia didn't actually use the bathroom, she pretended and texted all the friends y/n had before everything went down. including Jack.

Sophia: HEY GUYS

Jack: what

Millie: yeah?

Finn: why am I in this chat?

Sophia: because okay.

Finn: lol alright

Gaten: yessir

Caleb: hey soph, what's up?

Sadie: omg long time no talk hyd guys

Noah: Why isn't y/n in this GC?

Sophia: speaking of y/n

Caleb: yeah has anyone heard from her?

gaten: she hasn't opened my snaps...

millie: probs crying or something for what she did

Sadie: omg don't be so rude millie.

Finn: it's kind of my fault

jack: it's all ur fault bud.

Finn: lol ik idc tho

Sophia: OMG LISTEN UP GUYS

gaten: we can't listen through text.

Noah: tru.

finn: ima head out

Sophia: y/n is moVING...

jack: what?????

millie: didn't she already refuse to move?

Sadie: yea?^

Sophia: yes, but she already is packed up and leaving

gaten: omg I didn't even get to say goodbye :(

Caleb: me either wth

Finn: oh

gaten: lets show up to her house

jack: how do u know she's already packed??

Sophia: bc I'm helping her rn but I'm in the bathroom pretending to be using it so I can text y'all!

millie: well if she wants to move away then let her.

Sophia has kicked millie from the group

Sophia: she is annoying me so.

Finn: damn

Noah: oop

jack: I'm going to see her before she goes even tho we arent on good terms...

Finn: yo hurry up she be leaving right now

jack: shut up.

Sophia left the bathroom, she assisted y/n with the rest of her boxes and such and said her goodbyes.

meanwhile, jack was on his way to y/n's house kind of going over the speed limit by 10 he drove up her street and arrived at the house five minutes late. Only to see Sophia standing there at her car looking back at the house before opening her car door to get in.

Jack parked behind her and got out quickly rushing towards the front door, Sophia stopped what she was doing and walked over to him. "she already left." Sophia quietly says

"how long ago?" Jack asks

"like five minutes ago, you were too late I guess," she says "but you could always phone her."

"I can't give her this over the phone, if I knew earlier that she was leaving I would've come and told her what I wanted to in person." he holds up a hoodie, his favourite one.

"oh, mail it to her."

"it's not the same." jack snaps "as much as I hated her at that moment, it's hard to get rid of mixed feelings about her."

"well your friend messed it all up, I don't know what to tell you buddy" Sophia pats Jack's back and walks back to her car "and besides, she thinks you and everyone else hates her anyway, just leave it at that she needs to heal."

jack shook his head "fine, I'll let it go for now I guess."

but why would he listen to Sophia, they aren't even friends.

AND BAM! I think this is the official chapter unless y'all want more? Maybe a third book including some new people? Idk I like writing even though half of the time I don't put 100% but I still try haha.

Anyways, let me know if I should continue this or not because I feel like this is the climax but also could be a new beginning who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️
