The Story of The Crush: PART VI

Okay, I'm okay.

It was Saturday morning, and I'm going home to our province because it's grandma's birthday.

I was sitting on a waiting shed, waiting for the bus, when you keep entering my mind. Should I invite you to grandma's party? I can still wait for you here and let's take the next bus—shit. What am I thinking?

Ara. Ara. Ara.

Ara is should be the one who's on my mind, not you.

What is wrong with me?

Before I cursed myself out early in the morning, I took my phone from my pocket and plugged in my earphones. I resort to listening to upbeat songs in hopes to shake my strange thoughts off. I closed my eyes, feeling the beat and my feet dance into it. Any minute now the bus will arrive, so I took off one earphone, still dancing. Everything is going to be okay—

"Guk-ah!" Then I heard you call my name.

My eyes snapped open and from there I see you, standing across me on the other side of the road. You are happily waving your hand at me while wearing that beautiful smile of yours.

And everything went in slow motion.

Shit.

How can you be so beautiful by just standing there, wearing a bare face and casual clothes, and while holding a plastic of thingies? How can you be so beautiful without making an effort? How?!

This shit is confusing.

I hate myself for letting this happen. This is way out of the plan. My plan is to make Ara jealous, not to fall for another girl!

Then the bus came to save me. It arrived perfectly on time just a minute before I could walk towards you and invite you to grandma's birthday. I immediately hopped on the bus before I could make the said mistake.

"Thank you so much for your kind service, sir."

The bus driver gazed upon me with confused and flattered look on his face.

"Eh? You're welcome?"

Okay,I'm okay.
