Chapter 10: Straight Face

"God! April, I'm so sorry" Amanda apologizes and I give her a small smile.

"It's okay" I say and "This is really really awesome. You guys are the best" I say and I mean it.

They went through all this just to celebrate me and make me happy. They're amazing.
I just had to go ruin that for them.
Silly me.

"I hope you are feeling much better now" Noah says and Lane gets a glass of water for me.
He was making me look fragile.

And yes, Noah.
Noah Henry is in my Apartment.

Unbelievable.

"Yes, I am" I smile up at him "Thanks, Noah- You really didn't have to go through all this for me"

"No. I wanted to"

"Thank you very much"

"God- I feel so bad" Liam announces, looking at me "Hawky, I'm so sorry"
He stands in front of me and holds my hands.

"Fine, Roger" I grin You're forgiven"

"Ha! You love me that much, don't you?" He smirks jokingly.

"Don't push it" I warn him, smiling as Nicole and Leslie laugh.

"Leave her alone, Liam" Lane says to Liam, and then to me "C'mon, April. You need to rest"

"Lane" I whine "I'm okay, Really. Don't worry" I say and he stares at my face, as if searching.
His face was filled with concern.

"Fine, but just sit here"

"Yes" Avery agrees "Whatever you need, we shall provide" she adds with a small salute.

"Uhh... I don't know about you guys, but I say we have a game night" I declare

Avery, Lane, Ariana, Amanda, Liam, Carter, Troy, Nicole, Betty, Leslie, Parker, Miles, Chelsea, Joanna and Noah.

Those were the people currently in my room with me.
Parker, Miles, Chelsea and Joanna had come later.
They heard the noise from the apartment and had decided to come join us.

We were having a 'straight face' game at the moment and honestly, I think this game is pretty hard.
We're all drunk shitless already, since we'd all taken our own share of drinks before playing beer pong, and now, Straight face.

Someone is supposed to write something funny or inappropriate, but with a straight face.
Then, he'll pass it over to the rest of us, and we all have to read it with a straight face on too.

Whoever reacts will have to take a shot, and based on the fact that we were already really drunk, this is going to be so hard.

"C'mon Carter, write something down" Ariana says slurring a bit.

"Okay then" He gets a piece of paper and starts writing something down.

He looks at it with a bored expression and passes it to Liam who reads it and passes it down like nothing happened.
Then over to Chelsea, she reads it and passes it to Joanna, she also has her straight face on.

Hmm.. They're good

Joanna passes it to Parker
He looks at the paper, then at his drink, and back at the paper again.
He then passes it to Ariana.
When Ariana looks at the paper, she betrays no emotion at all.
Then she looks up at me and back at the paper, she reads it really carefully, then she laughs.

Yes... she laughs

"Oh God... That was totally worth it" she laughs again and she turns red.
She sits up from her position on the ground that she had landed while laughing.
She picks up her drink, but not before Joanna and Parker start laughing too.
Chelsea uses her right palm to cover her mouth but fails miserably.
Now, four of them have to drink.
