We were at a walking pace now, Angie whispered, "Why are those two acting so weird?" I shrugged at the two boys ahead of us. They have been whispering in Russian to each other as if explaining a plan of some sort. I shrugged at their odd behavior, "I do not know but they acted like this ever since I told them what happened to them while I was asleep." Angie nodded, "true. they seem to know something that we don't, I'll see if I can ask Isaac." I nodded and turned my attention to the boys in front of us. We had come to a T intersection and they were trying to figure out which way. Nickolas turned around and sighed, "which way do you girls think we should go?" Angie stood between the two paths, "I don't know. How about-" "we go right" I interrupted. "What?" Isaac frowned. I pointed down the right hall, "I can see faint light coming from this way. This means there is light at the end here." Isaac raised his eyebrow in a challenging manner, "How are you so sure that doesn't mean the Аутсайдера is that way with their torches?" I rolled my eyes, "there is a difference between fire light and sunlight" Nick massaged his temples, "there is a possibility that Harper can see or sense the sunlight. Royals with the elemental powers are more sensitive to their element and Harper is right. I can sense water down that way."
Isaac pouted, "couldn't you have tried that way before?" I glared at him, "well I couldn't see or sense that from before." Angie laughed nervously, "alright, alright. Lets go right, the sooner we leave here the better." We all nodded as I lead the way. It actually took a lot longer than expected but we were finally able to see sunlight enter through the catacombs. Angie grinned, "Look, look! I can see an opening over there!" She pointed ahead and, you could see on opening like a cave with the surroundings. I smiled and we all ran as fast as we could out of the catacombs. It seemed as if we were a long way from the castle. Isaac huffed, "at least we are not near there anymore. Maybe if we figure out where we are, I could get us to the Northern sub-kingdom." I panted, "sure. Can we just camp here for the night first? I really need to properly rest..." Nickolas nodded and tiredly sat at the entrance to the catacombs, "shelter right here." We all huffed and sat down to rest, night came around and we were all a bit hungry. Nickolas had dark circles under his eyes, Isaac looked very very tired with puffy eyes. Angie's hair looked like a bird nest and the bags under her eyes became more noticeable by the hour. I'm sure my hair was a mess and that my skin was a bit paler, "guys...I'm hungry." Isaac pouted; crossing his arms over his chest like a little kid. Angie rolled her eyes, "you said that five minutes ago." He scowled, "well I didn't see anyone doing anything about it so I thought I needed to remind you."
Nickolas groaned, "ugh. Isaac you are 17 years, you are old enough to go find food on your own." Isaac frowned, "but seeing as you all are older than me, you could get food for the minor in the group." Angie stood up, "Isie you are our guard. You are supposed to be doing this for us, not the other way around." I raised my eyebrow, "Isie?" Angie blushed and grabbed Isaac's hand and pulled him up from sitting, "U-uh. Lets go find something to eat...or something. C'mon." She tugged Isaac's hand and they both strolled away. I glanced at Nick, he had his eyes closed with his head rested back on the wall. I sat next to him, "Hey. You okay?" He opened one eye at me, Hey. I'm fine. You okay though? I mean you are obviously new to all this." I sighed "well its scary that's for sure. But earlier on, when I mentioned about my vision- dream thing you guys freaking out a bit....why?" His eyes widened and he wouldn't look me in my eyes, "w-well you see, umm. H-how about we worry about that later? Its not very important-" he stuttered. Nickolas never stuttered so I knew something was up.
I put my hand on his shoulder, "If its about me don't you that I'm ought to know?" He gave a nervous laugh, "y-yeah but it's not that important" I raised my eyebrow at him "so it's kind of important?" Beads of sweat trickled down the side of his face, "u-uhm. No?" I tilted my head at him, "you sure?" he nodded meekly. I gave him one last look before getting up and walking over to the hill in front of us to see if I could spot the kingdom's castle. I did see it but one problem, it was about 965137355 miles away. (over exaggerating but ykyk) Did we travel all that way while we were underground? I just realise how much I missed home; Earth. I missmy bed, my house, Granny. I miss school, I miss the teachers, heck! I even miss Eve! (first chapter if you don remember her-) I felt like curling into a little ball and cry. "Harper!" I heard a shout, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned around to see Angie running up towards me. "h-hey." she panted, "w- we found some fruits. Come and eat with us." I nodded and was about to follow her back to the cave but something caught my eye- wait. No, it can't be! "Harper?" Angie called after she realised I wasn't following her, "what's wrong?" Then she followed my line of sight and her jaw dropped.
"Isaac!" she yelled hoarsely. He and Nick walked to us, "what's up?" I shakely pointed to what We were looking at. When they saw, their faces paled "well f*ck.", Nick cursed under his breathe. We were in deep trouble now.

FantasyAngie frowned, "I don't understand. What does any of this has to do with Harper?" I stood, tears were already streaming my face, "I'm the child in that story. The golden-eyed girl. I was the child who accidently killed her own parents" Granny said...
