Chapter 4: Into the Stardom

(Five years later)

"Patrick! I have a good news for both of us." It was past the hour of 8 in the morning when Lance went to Patrick's condo to brought up the news.

Patrick, while eating breakfast alone at a high chair in front of the tv, gets puzzled by what he heard. "What kind of news is that?"

Lance switch on the tv and said "watch and learn Bro."

Patrick obeyed as what Lance's said though it is not clear to him what the kind of news he is pertaining to. They continue to watch the morning show of that station, until it proceeded to the news section of the show.

In the tv, the reporter said

"At the airport, we are waiting for the arrival of the Lady in the Hour, no other than the woman who bring home the crown, not by a beauty pageant, but in the field of newscasting. We are pleased that in a few minutes, we will be honored to finally meet her in person especially when she touch down in Manila."

"Who is that Lance?" Patrick gets puzzled again as he cannot connect himself with the news.

"Wait for a while Patrick and you will see. The reason why I am here before I will go to the office." Lance pleased him to stay.

While waiting, Patrick and Lance drink a cup of coffee.

The reporter continued.

"For the trivia, she is not just an international newscaster, but also the newly-announced CEO of Aragon Group of Companies. We are proud to say that this woman is truly an extraordinary, and unbelievably talented."

Patrick noticed Lance's outfit today. He is more decent to look than the rest of the days.

"Ah, the Public Relations Officer of Aragon Group of Companies wears the best outfit of the day. Ah the reason why Trisha gets early going to the office today, to prepare for this CEO. Oh I see it now."

Lance interrupted him and said "This news is more important than my outfit today Patrick."

The reporter continues

"She's finally here! No other than the award-winning international newscaster and CEO of Aragon Group of Companies, no other than Ms. Arabelle Aragon Montecillo.

"Hi Maam! Good morning! How's the trip and how it feels being here, again?"

(Other reporters compressed near her as they interviewed her one by one)

(Ara wears her shades in brown, long sleeve sweat shirt in gray that emphasizes the sexiness in her body despite it's loose, in blue denim fitted jeans and black boots. She's incredibly gorgeous in black long straight hair, looks like a beauty queen).

Ara answered the reporter "Well, I have a smoother trip as it is not raining and at the same time, I'm glad to see again the wonders of the universe in the sky and it is good to be back home once again, after a couple of years"

The reporter asked another question "What makes you decide to accept the offer Ma'am?"

Ara answered "I wanted to help the station when I first work with, the station who rise me to fame at once. It's only a couple months then I will be back home again and will visit once in a while for our company."

Another reporter asked her "We heard a lot of news that you will appear once again in the tv news at night daily but there are also saying that you will do only a consultation. To be exact, what is really your position then."

Ara answered "Well, it's both actually. Catch me up starting tomorrow night, 7pm in the tv news."

(The escorts attempted to move them away, but one reporter insist to talk to her as a last question)

"Ms. Arabelle, for the last question, since the fans are eager to see you again this time, can we request to remove your shades for seconds?"

Ara confidently answered "What a good question is that! Ok, I will do as they pleased."

(Ara removed her shades while waiving her hair so dazzling in black. The reporters find her like a South-Korean star, as they dilated their eyes.)

Lance accidentally drops his cup of coffee as he saw her on tv.  "Wow! You looked different now Arabelle. I will definitely find ways to impress you."

Patrick also drops his cup of coffee in shock, but there is sadness in his eyes. To his mind, she is getting more beautiful as he look at her lips, her eyes and her face, that he misses her more and finds himself wanting to kiss her once again. But the reality strikes in him, recalling that she once said that she will not see him again.

Lance shifted his mood when he saw Patrick and said "Bro, I understand what you feel right now. Seemingly like you do not know this time that she is a rich girl coming from a prominent family pretending to be an ordinary girl like us. You recall now what you have done to her? She cooks food for you, she laundry clothes for you, she cleans the condo for you, then you ended her hurting wholeheartedly. If her parents will know about it, they will put you to jail for what have you done to their princess."

In the tv, the reporter said:

"Incredibly gorgeous Ms. Arabelle! Wow! Thank you."

Arabelle then bid goodbye to them.

Lance switch off the tv while asking what is the next plan of Patrick. Patrick gets harder to answer.

"She rises up and I am happy for what she achieved after all this time of hurting her. She reached the top that I cannot easily get her back to me anymore. It needs me more strength to fix myself before I will meet her again. I am in deep emotional crisis now, looked so haggard in years of paying for what I have done towards her."

Lance said "Patrick, if you would not mind, if I got have a chance to meet her again, I will court her. Is it alright with you?"

Patrick said "Do as you pleased Lance. Anyway, she will be the one to choose the one she wants. Perhaps, we are just hoping for her but she already has a boyfriend, we don't know."

"Ok Bro." Lance said with sadness in his eyes.

The next day, she had her first appearance in the tv news together with the other 2 male news anchors. She made her first interview with the President via phone patch about the various current events in the country.

The tv news gets trending, with the audience gets surprised seeing her for the first time on tv. Some do not know her beforehand but are getting curious about how gorgeous she is and has an extraordinary skills in doing the interview. Audience gets fascinated on her as they find her pleasing on tv. Some reckoned her to be a beauty queen as they find her incredibly beautiful but only has not gifted with height of a beauty queen.

In the twitter world, someone has brought up the issue about her working as a DJ at a known radio station. Someone replied to a twitter post that she had a relationship with a listener who is an avid fan of hers. Through her appearance on tv, the fans dig deeper her past. Someone has posted a picture of her with the guy listener named Patrick. Her privacy gets revealed again, leading the media to have invited her to various interviews.

During her various brief interviews, she is smart to deal with it gracefully, telling them honestly while positive at the same time. She is glad that the reporters did not mention about the name of Patrick. She reckoned that they must not mention his name as he is a private person, while her is now a tv personality, again.
