Ara is still not waking up for a couple days. Patrick never leaves her alone, he even did not get home at least to rest for awhile especially when Ara's mom asked him for it. He cannot help himself worrying what might happen to her if he gets home. He promised to himself that he will not get out until Ara gets back to her normal consciousness.
Ara's mom called him when somebody from outside the room is waiting for him. When he went out from the ICU room, surprisingly, he saw Jay and his annoying friend Bob. He assisted them going inside the ICU room and have some talk. Then he found out that Bob is having a business in Boracay and is in a relationship with Jay. Jay cried aloud, after seeing his friend, that he only get the chance to see her now after long years, now that she is in a critical condition. He feels sorry to himself that he even did not call to keep in touch with her. He thanked Patrick that he never leaves her alone, that he knows that his friend Ara is a mysterious and quiet person and refuses to be taken good care of. Bob apologizes to Patrick, after humiliating him for only having sexual pleasures towards Ara and having one-night stand with her years ago when they went to Boracay and Patrick having sex with Ara for the first time despite him not knowing her yet. And Bob said that he feels Patrick loves Ara so much, after seeing his eyes seemingly crying in sadness for days. They went outside the room together with Patrick to bid goodbye, when Jay saw Joel for the first time after years. Jay wished to throw a fist towards that man as he cannot forget of hurting his friend especially those several times he comforted Ara in tears when he knows Joel cheated on her and having a fling with other girls. Then he saw Lance beside him. The last time he recalled about Lance is when he attempted to court Ara despite he is married already. He gets wondered why Lance is with Joel. Joel and Lance gets startled when they noticed Jay is looking at them. Lance then headed the conversation.
"Hi Jay! How are you?"
With a sigh of relief, Jay answered him. "Am sorry, but am just feel awkward to see you both once again. The last time I saw you both is when you're hurting my friend. And now, I see her she is in a terrible condition. I also want to blame Patrick for all of these things that have happened to my friend, for hurting her more than what the two you do, that in the end, she still choose to love the wrong man. Wrong man because she gets hurt in the end. But I know my friend, she selflessly love and am pity on her that after all the selfless love she gives, it is still unrequited love for her. Despite I feel I am not a bestfriend to her, I still love her as a friend. If only I could teach my heart to be a man, I will choose to love her instead. But in the end, I also leave her for years. I feel so sorry to my friend. I need to apologize to my friend as well. Am sorry Ara for leaving you behind." Jay cried in tears, conscienciously expresses himself. Bob hugs him so tightly to comfort himself. Bob then excuses themselves from the three of them.
Patrick throws a fist towards Joel, for daring to face him after all these years for being not a good man especially to his son, that Patrick assumes the father of the child despite he knows beforehand that he is the real father. He never fights back, chooses Patrick to let him do it toward himself, until he leans himself at the floor, when Patrick, with a sigh of relief, said to him
"Kulang pa yang suntok na yan sa lahat ng ginagawa mo sa akin, sa amin ni Ara. Ano ba ang kasalanan ko sa 'yo bakit mo sa akin ginagawa mo? Pinaangkin nyo sa akin ang anak mo! Anong klaseng tatay ka! Ha! Kayo ni Trisha, niloloko nyo kami! Nagkaroon kami ng magandang relasyon tapos eto sinira nyo lang? Ilang taon kami nagtitiis sa aming paghihiwalay dahil sa ginawa nyo? Walang kapatawaran 'to!"
Lance stopped Patrick for doing it again towards Joel, asked Joel to wait outside, while he pulled Patrick going inside the room. Lance and Patrick have a talk and asking Patrick to let Joel explain to him and to ask an apology. Both Lance and Patrick went outside the room and approached Joel who is sitting at the bench along the aisle going to the hospital rooms. They seated at the bench, Lance is at the center of both of them.
