Days later, both Patrick and Ara's mom take good care of Ara in the hospital, but Patrick spend of the time in the hospital as he loses appetite to get home and rest. As he recalled Ara's mom revelation of what actually happened in those 5 years apart between him and Ara, he supposedly have a child with Ara. He gets tearful again after realizing he really did not take good care of her and that he is still the reason why they lost their child. To his mind, he keeps on saying sorry to Ara, but this time, he wished to say sorry to Ara and to say how bad he is to leave her, though Ara leaves him actually. How bad he is he never be on her side when she needed him the most, that he never finds way to reach out to her and to check on her if she is ok. He feels even more bad to himself and guilty as well when Ara's mom showed no signs of hatred against him especially after all this time, she intend to help him same with what her daughter diid to him. As he feel mad to himself, he wished if only Ara's mom would kill him instead rather than showing to him the kindness he do not deserve to receive. As the thoughts run into his mind, he realize that Ara's mom is right, that he still loves her daughter and that he finds strength, through Ms. Conchita's words that she still believe it and that she will easily get recovered with him by her side.

That thoughts, get interrupted when Patrick noticed someone is beside him. Then he saw Lance, who also frequently visits on Ara. While watching Ara who is still fighting for survival, Lance asked Patrick to go to the watcher's room to tell him something.

"Patrick, I believe this time you do not know yet what really happened to Ara during that night. I talked to Trisha and Joel after I asked Lorie what she really heard when she get there inside for a minute. Am sorry you will get disappointed this time but Trisha confessed that your child with her is not actually yours. She already pregnant when she tempted you that night and that because Joel rejected her so she went to you to do something that would say that it was your child with her. Am sorry to tell you at this very moment. I feel sorry for you Patrick that after all the sacrifices you made because of that child, in the end, you are not the father actually."

Patrick burst into tears, unloading burden emotions behind him, for the years of struggle because of Trisha and that child, and then he realize he did senseless thing as after all, it was not his child. He wished to throw fist against Joel, how irresponsible man he is, that after all he knows that he is the real father of that child, and that he do not have any conscience seeing him for years in struggle. He assumed the duty of a father which Joel should suppose to do it. Then his thinks of Ara, who suffered a lot that have almost taken her life at once, and this time again, fighting for survival, all because of Trisha and Joel.

His thoughts get interrupted again when someone opened the door going inside the room, the visitor's corner. He went out from the patient's room, and checked that someone. Then he saw Trisha, reckoning if it was him or Ara the reason she is visiting. He feels bad after seeing her, he immediately walk towards her to prevent her from reaching Ara.

"Trisha, let's go out from here. You should not be here. Do you understand?"
Patrick holds her arm and dragged her outside the ICU room.
While they are outside, Trisha speak herself.
"Patrick, am just here to visit Ara and to say sorry."
"What? Do you still think that saying sorry is just enough for her to be okay? You also owe me an apology for doing it to me for years!"
"About what exactly Patrick?"
"Don't pretend as if I do not know yet. I know now that after all this time, I am not the father of that child! How dare you do this to us especially to Ara?! She suffered a lot all because of you! All because of you and Joel!"

With a tearful eyes, Trisha get slapped by her conscience, saying "Am sorry."

With a sigh of relief, while being emotional, he finally said calmly "I cannot forgive you. I cannot forgive you for the rest of my life, especially if I got to lose her again. Leave. Leave and do not dare to see me again."
