Taylor's POV
Last night was rough. Elijah barely slept which meant barely any sleep for Joe and I. I wanted to call my parents and ask them to keep Avery one more night so Joe and I could get some rest today, but I want my baby to come home. I miss her so much it hurts. I was sitting in bed, snuggling Elijah when my phone started ringing. "Hey, honey. Dad and I are gonna keep Avery a little longer. She's getting sick I think and I think it's best if she isn't around you and the baby." my mom said. "What do you mean she's getting sick?" I asked. "She's got the sniffles and a terrible cough. Think it might be a little cold or something. I got her some children's cold and flu medicine." she said. "Ok. Thank you guys so much for helping us out. I really want her home, but like you said, I don't think it's good for her to be around a new baby, especially this tiny. Last night was absolutely awful. We barely slept so I really appreciate you guys keeping her." I said. "I'm sorry, sweetie. Y'all get some sleep and I'll update you on Avery tomorrow." my mom said. "Thanks. Love you. Bye." I said, hanging up. I handed Elijah to Joe so I could pump. After I finished, I changed clothes because the tank top I'm currently in is covered in milk stains and spit up. After I change, I waddle downstairs, Joe following behind. "Alright, baby. I'm gonna go ahead and get going. I'll be back tonight. However, if you need anything, call me. I'll call you when we take our break. I love you" he said to me, leaning down to kiss me. "I love you too." I said. He's going to film for an upcoming movie he's in. Luckily, there's a few parts they can film in Tennessee that way he doesn't have to be away from home that long.

1 PM
I was sitting on the couch, Elijah sleeping on my chest when my phone started ringing. It was Abigail. "Hey, Tay. Can I come over?" she said. I could tell she had been crying. "Of course! Are you ok?" I ask. "I'll explain later." she said. I worried the whole time until she got here. She knocked and I got up to answer it. She was holding her baby girl, who is 6 days old. We go in the living room and I sit on the couch and she sits in the recliner. "I just needed to get away from Matt. I love him, Taylor. But sometimes...he just pisses me off. I'm barely sleeping. I get up to do every single feeding at night. I've been pumping so he can help with the feedings, but he hasn't. He doesn't even get up with me. He just sleeps. And then during the day, he goes off to do photo shoots and just leaves me at home by myself with her instead of watching her for a few hours so I can get a nap in. I'm just so tired." she said. She cried until she felt better and then both of our babies started fussing and we fed them. "This is crazy. We're sitting in your living room breastfeeding our babies, who are only 4 days apart. They're gonna be besties just like us. Or soulmates." Abigail said. I laughed. "They have no other option." I say. We finish feeding our babies and then I hand her Elijah and she hands me her baby girl, named Stella. "Oh my goodness you're so cute. I'm obsessed with you." I say. We snuggled each other's babies for a while until Abigail was ready to go home. "Bye, my sweet girl. Auntie T loves you so much. Remember, anything your mom says no to, I'll say yes." After she leaves, I lie down on the couch and end up falling asleep, Elijah snuggled up on my chest.

6 PM
Elijah just finished eating, now I'm cooking dinner for Joe and I. I heard him come through the front door. "Hey, baby" he said, kissing me. "Did you find out when you have to go film in London?" I asked. "6 weeks from now." he said. He went in for another kiss, but Elijah started crying so he went to go get him. "It's ok, buddy." I heard him say. He kissed Elijah's head. "You're such a good daddy." I said. "And you're a good mummy." he said. I smiled. The rest of the night was spent binge watching things on netflix until time for bed.

The next day
1 PM
My mom and dad are on the way over with Avery. I'm currently sitting on the couch pumping and Joe is sitting next to me, holding Elijah. Just as I was pouring the milk into milk storage bags, my parents pulled in. I greeted them at the door. "You're so gorgeous." my dad said. "Yeah right. I barely slept last night and I'm exhausted." I said. "Hi, my pretty girl." I said. "She's feeling a lot better. She's been super clingy and hasn't had her nap." my mom said. "See your baby brother?" I asked Avery as my mom put her on my lap. She lied her head on my shoulder. She started crying. "Baby, what's the matter?" I asked her. I dried her tears. "Da-da" she said, reaching out for Joe. "Scott, would you like to hold him?" Joe asked my dad. "Of course!" my dad said. He held Elijah and then Joe pulled Avery onto his lap and she ended up falling asleep moments later. My parents took turns holding the baby and then left. "I wanna go lie her down in her room, but I feel like she'll wake up." he said. He carefully carried her upstairs and lied her down. He came back down and sat next to me on the couch. "I hope she warms up to him." I said. "She will, babe. Give her a little time." Joe said.

8 PM
Things in the house are crazy right now. Joe left a few minutes ago to grab a few things I need for my postpartum care. I'm in so much pain, yet I'm down on my knees giving Avery a bath, which isn't easy when you're tired and you just had a baby. In the middle of bathing her she starts getting crazy and splashing. "Avery, let's not do that ok? You're getting mommy's shirt wet." I said. Seconds later, Elijah was crying. "I'm coming buddy!" I said. I finished bathing Avery and helped her step out of the bath since I couldn't pick her up. Oh, plus she's walking now! At 10 months old!!!!!! I turn around to let the water out of the tub and when I turn back around, Avery isn't there. She starts running around butt naked. I sit down on the floor before even thinking about how I was gonna get up. "Come here. We need to put a diaper and your pajamas on." I said. "Ma-ma" Avery said. I smiled. She kept running and wouldn't settle down. "Avery, please. Your brother is screaming. I need to hurry and dress you for bed." I said. Joe arrives back home and sees me on the verge of tears in the floor. "Oh thank god you're home. Can you please grab her and get her ready for bed so I can go feed him?" I asked. "Of course. Here, let me help you up." he said. He helped me off the floor and I went to our room to get Elijah and I went downstairs. I sat on the couch and started nursing him. I started rubbing his head. "You're so cute." I said to him. "Show mummy your pajamas." I hear Joe say as he carries Avery downstairs. She got onto the couch. "Mine" she said pointing at Elijah. "No ma'am. We don't do that anymore. Remember? I told you once brother came, no more boobies." I said. She got down off the couch and started pouting and was about to throw a fit. She threw herself in the floor and started crying. Joe scooped her up and sat on the couch with her and had a little talk. She quickly got over it and started playing. That is, until Elijah finished eating and I started burping him. "Ouch?" Avery said, concerned. She's only 10 months so she can't say much, but she understands a lot. "No, baby. I have to burp him. It doesn't hurt him. He has to burp so he doesn't get a tummy ache." I said. After he burped, I held him as he contently slept on my chest. Avery climbed onto the couch and held her arms out. "You wanna hold him?" I asked her and she nodded. I placed him in her small arms, making sure my hand is supporting his head. She kissed his head. "Aww such a good big sister" Joe said. She didn't stay still for long and soon wanted him out of her arms. She wanted me to cuddle her so I passed Elijah to Joe. Thank goodness she finally warmed up to him a little. We've still got a lot more to go, but it's a start. Joe and I decided to let Avery sleep in the middle of our bed tonight so we could snuggle her. "You better not get her started on this or our sex life is gonna be ruined forever." I said. "Me?! I asked and you agreed."he said. "Yeah, but it was your idea. She's a daddy's girl all the way and she is gonna think she can sleep in here every night." I said, laughing. "That's not happening. Only tonight" he said. He kissed me and we turned out our lamps and went to sleep. This should be interesting. I feel like we don't know what we just got ourselves into.
