Recollection of friends

Waking up I felt giddy my friends are coming over! Deciding to take more time than usual I change my clothes into a loose black butterfly sleeved shirt with some snow leopard print shorts, with some black flats. Entering the bathroom I brush my teeth and brush my hair deciding to help myself wake up I splash some water onto my face wiping it with a towel. Yep I look presentable at least,walking down the stairs I head into the kitchen and pull out some Eggos waffles from the freezer to eat for breakfast.

Entering the living room with my plate of food I lean back on the couch deciding to turn the TV on as I flip through channels I stop at a news channel "Breaking news several incidents and murders in the outskirts of Grand Line City has public worried!" I scoff switching channels "Yeah right the only danger here is the people I work with" I whisper to myself before the doorbell rings.

Standing up I take my dish to the sink rinsing it before setting it into the dish washer as the door bell rings again as I sigh still impatient after all this time as I approach the door I slowly turn the handle peeking through the door before swinging it open as I tackle the man in a hug "KAKU!" I cry as the man laughs catching me in his sturdy arms as he looks at me with a smile "Hey ____ how are you?" I felt excitement and giddyness bubble up inside me seeing my old friend.

"Hello ____" a voice I knew too well speaks as I turn wrapping my arms around the tall mans torso "Hey Lucci been a while" I say as his long arms wrap around my back before I let go stepping back to take a look at my closest friends. "Wow Kaku you grew nearly Lucci's height,come in don't just stand there" I fuss ushering the two inside to the living room where they sit on a couch as I go to make some drinks. "Kaku,Lucci what would you like?" I call over my shoulder hearing Kaku reply "just water for Lucci but i'll take some herbal tea!" I whistle and hum at his words before fixing myself a lemonade before heading out with the drinks.

"This is a nice place your working in" Kaku admires the large room and all the furniture and electronics as I nod saying "Sengoku is the former Fleed Admiral of the navy he made quite the big cash in his days" Lucci shift his eyes over on his shoulder Hattori a pigeon sits calmly the suit it wears matching it's master.After setting the drinks down Lucci picks up his glass of water drinking it as I extend my hands out as Hattori coos cutely as I nuzzle the bird as Kaku watches this interaction.

"___ your proably curious why were here?" Lucci says once he finished his water as Kaku blows on his tea before sipping it slowly as I nod asking "Well I wondered why you come here being in the FBI free time isn't easy to come by" the two nod eyes hooded with a deeper emotion as I regret bringing their profession up. "We came here searching for a certain man maybe you know him, Donquioxte Dofflamingo he has been slacking on his agreement with the world government" Lucci growls out eyes flashing with dark intent before it dissapears as Hattori rejoins Lucci taking his spot on his shoulder.

"Yes I know him as long as he isn't killed your free to do as you please" I state calmly knowing as long as the kids or their guardians aren't in trouble I have no need to intervene with the FBI. Kaku gives a grateful smile before saying "thanks you we didn't want to interfere if you were planning a mission" I freeze grabbing my lemonade quickly shifting my gaze anywhere but on the men in front of me. "____ you can talk to us" Kaku whispers sensing my sudden panic and unease.

Not replying I think about the other reason I came here 'I decided to come to the city for a break from missions yet I still got dragged into Sengoku's request and his mission for me to make sure nothing happened to Grand Line City that would end up with chaos and pandemonium' I think remembering the conditions Sengoku had for letting me watch the daycare. "____ talk to me" Lucci whispers as he shifts standing up to hug me his leopard ears and tail visible as he listens to my heart beat calm down slowly.
