The school bell rings as I move gathering my books from my desk standing up I sling my bag over my shoulder keeping my head down quickly walking out of the classroom avoiding the harsh stares of my classmates. Upon entering the cafeteria a smiling face greats me "Hey _____ how was English I know you don't have any friends in that class must be rough" the energetic red hair teen Akagami Shanks my best friend and companion.

Sitting down at our table Dracule Mihawk the most popular male in our school slides his bento box lunch to me as he says "Eat you probably forgot to grab lunch this morning" I blink shocked as I check my bag and indeed I had forgotten to grab my lunch before I left the daycare this morning.

Bowing my head in thanks I open the box eyes softening at the bed of rice slayed with baby tomatoes with some chicken on the side a simple but one of my favorite meals.Shanks slides a drink can over as I pick it up strawberry soda I smile saying "Thanks" Shanks nods his head leaning back in his seat. "Oh my gosh I'm sorry we're late!" the voice of Hancock calls as the most popular female in our high school Boa Hancock moves to take a seat on my left.

Being younger than my friends I rarely shared classes with any of them, yet they still went out of their way to always find me and spend what time we could together. "Well if it isn't the harbingers of war!" a blonde teenager who I knew very well her name is Stussy my enemy by every term we never got along and she loved to make my life hard.

"Stussy surprised your not scheming something oh wait you probably are and we'll stop you again!" Hancock snaps back hating the blonde with just as much mirth as me. "Stussy please leave my friends alone" I calmly state eyes closed as I eat my food in silence when a incoming force is detected feeling someone move I open my eyes when I'm pushed out of the way Shanks held me protectively on the floor as Mihawk stands Yoru blocking Stussy from attacking me.

"Harm _____ and you'll have more than a turf war on your hands Stussy" Mihawk whispers sharp eyes promising pain as she huffs some of her followers appearing ready to fight. "Mihawk it's fine we have the advantage anyways" I mumble out as Stussy glares our eyes clashing when the rest of our group arrives Crocodile and Doffy glare down the men who back off from the schools most brutal fighters.

Moriah cackles as the shadows of the men are stolen as Stussy turns away knowing she can't beat us as a group. "____ you'll perish one day and I'll make sure it's by my hands" Stussy spits as I retort "Than try I'll beat you down every time" the blonde walks away as I sigh Shanks grabbing my arm and pulling me up to my feet.

Hancock fusses over me as I reassure her I'm fine once the tension from the confrontation dies down Doffy speaks up "We could always get rid of Stussy she knows that so she reminds us she'll bring more people as witness" Crocodile turns his golden bracelet on his wrist saying "Well death doesn't have to be brutal if it can be silent" the two gang bosses share a sinister smirk as Hancock and I slam their heads into the table saying "Absolutely not we don't need more attention drawn to us!" Mihawk and Shanks watch silently.

"_____ are you alright?" the voice of Kaku asks as he carefully approaches the table wary of my other friends who didn't trust Kaku or Lucci much at all. "Yeah I'm fine I'm going to head to class do not make any moves okay" I tell my companions who nod though they didn't agree with my decision at all. Walking with Kaku to class being the same age we shared most classes together, entering science I sit down next to Lucci with Kaku on my opposite side we diligently completed our work turning in first done like always.

"I heard Stussy caused you more problems she should know if we end up working together in the future this will case trouble" Lucci states anoyance plainly seen on his face as Kaku shrugs saying "She's tolerable sometimes" I clench my fist saying "She's a pain and sneaky someone well to be cautious of" Kaku nudges my shoulder saying "Want us to walk you home today?" I shake it off even if she tries something I can handle her.
