Shai POV
I wake up early in the morning to a phone call.... And by early, I mean 4 in the morning..... I groan and look over at my phone to see who's calling.Of course....
Theo.
I pick up the phone, "Hello?" I ask in a groggy voice. "Hello, Shai," Theo responds, I can almost hear his smirk. "What do you want, Theo? It's 4 in the morning!" I say. He chuckles, "I wanted to say Merry Christmas Eve, Shai." I smile to myself, "Thanks, Theo. Merry Christmas Eve to you too." "Thanks, Shai," he says. "So, Theo, what are you really calling me for?" I ask. I hear him sigh, "I miss you, Shai." I feel tears prickle in my eyes, "I miss you too, Theo." Previously, Theo has been in England with his family and I have been here in L.A. working on my new movie, we have also been kind of dating in secret. I hear him clear his throat, "I really need to see you, Shai." I begin to feel tears falling down my cheeks, "I need to see you too, Theo," my voice cracks and I begin to cry. "Shai, please don't cry," he says and I hear a knock on the door. "I'll be right back, Theo. Some idiot is knocking on my door." I hear him laugh slightly as I get up and open the door, my face wet with tears. I open the door and then I see him.
Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptikilis.
I smile extremely wide and I throw my phone to the ground and tackle Theo in a hug. "Oh my Theodore!" I exclaim and begin to cry again. He holds me tight, "Shai," he says it with so much love, and worry. I pull back and look at him, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with your family?" I ask. He nods, "I told them that something was more important than family time." Theo sets me down and gets down on one knee and pulls a small velvet box out of his pocket. I instantly cover my mouth with my hand and tears fall again. "Shailene Diann Woodley, will you do me the honor of being my wife?" I nod eagerly and manage to say, "Yes," in a shaky, yet excited voice.
