The rest of the day went normal; you studied and worked hard during your classes. You had lunch with Wes back in your room; you'd both rather have peace and quiet than have to listen to everyone's thoughts in the canteen. You talked about your assignments and different fighting stances you needed to work on, Wes offered to help you out after classes.
He was so nice to you. Sometimes it made you feel so guilty because you know that he had more than platonic feelings for you, and you couldn't reciprocate. "So what was up with you and Solo today?" he questioned as he bit into his portion of bread. That jogged you out of your train of thought, and rubbed against your split lip in remembrance. "Oh that? We were just sparing, he was at the gym early this morning when I was meditating." Wes hummed in understanding; he seemed to be satisfied with that answer.
After spending all day trying to get Ben fucking Solo out of your head, he was back and louder than ever. Remembering how close your bodies were to each other when he touched your lip, or when you felt his breath on your neck when he taunted you. It haunted you; you had to push your feelings for him down. It wasn't allowed, Jedi's weren't allowed to be in relationships or anything of that nature. Your cheeks felt hot even thinking about it, you sighed and looked down at your hands, trying to memorize every line instead of thinking of he who must not be named. You eventually looked up at Wes, and saw that he was perfectly fine just sitting next to you enjoying your company. You were so grateful for that, you never felt as though you had to entertain him, you guys could just sit in silence and enjoy each other's presence. "Come on lets head to the gym before our next lesson, I want to meditate; I never got to finish this morning." He nodded and got off the small chair near your pathetically plain looking desk. You jumped off your bed and you headed to the gym.
You so badly wanted to see Ben there, your thoughts were swarming with pleas of him to touch you again. Once you entered the gym, you scanned the room but to your dismay there were just some younglings practicing with some practice sabers in the corner of the gym. You tried to not show your disappointment as you headed over to a padded cushion and took a seat; Wes took a seat right next to you. You felt comforted by his company, knowing now that this meditation is going to go a lot better or at least not disturbed like last time.
You went into your meditation stance and started to clear your mind, it seemed harder than it had been this morning. Everything seemed so much louder; everyone's thoughts whipping through your head, if you weren't already sitting you definitely would have toppled over. You furrowed your brows and touched your hands to the cold hard floor to ground yourself. But the noise just kept getting louder and louder and darker and darker. You could hear a voice in the distance trying to communicate with you, and first you thought it was Master Skywalker. But the voice was too low and too old to be your beloved mentor, this voice turned your bones to ice and sent an uneasy electricity into your body.
You felt more powerful, as though you could hear everyone and everything in the whole Jedi Academy, it scared you, having so much power. You pushed through trying to figure out where the source of this was coming from. "I know you're not satisfied with the life of the Jedi Y/N, its holding you back from your true potential and you know it." You froze, frightened by how clearly you heard the voice, at this point your body was vibrating.
How did this voice know your name?
Unsure what to do with this new information. "Listen to me child you have no idea what you are capable of, there is so much raw and untamed power that you hold deep inside yourself. You could be so much more than you are right now, I can unleash the power inside of you. All you need to do is leave the Jedi Academy and come and follow me." The voice continued to speak when you felt a warm hand on your shoulder, "Y/N? Are you okay? What's going on?" Wes pleaded, you shot your eyes open and desperately gulped down air; not even realizing you were holding your breath and visibly shaking. You looked at Wes, tears stinging your eyes and hands shaking, so afraid of what you just heard. Wes took your hands in his to stop them from shaking; he was so warm and so welcoming. "It's okay, you're safe. No one is going to hurt you, I promise. Jedi's Honor." You smiled at him, he always knew how to make you feel better and more like yourself. You shook your head trying to shake the experience from your memory, and never ever remember it. "Sorry Wes I didn't mean to scare you, I don't really know what happened." You replied. Wes looked at you with his brows in a deep V, he looked so concerned. You reassured him by shoving his shoulder a little and smiling, "Come on, lets head to our lesson." You chuckled. He let out a relieved sigh, he got up and held out his hand to help you up. You grabbed his hand and headed to your next lesson.
