Y'n's POV:

I've been gone for 3 hours. 3 hours. And he's still playing video games. I left at 12:30 pm to go and hang out with my best friend, Evie, at the mall. It's now 3:45 and I'm home, but he didn't even acknowledge me.

I lay down on his bed as he continues to scream into his gaming mic as he plays with his friends. I scroll through my phone for about 10 minutes, before getting extremely bored of it. "Corbynnn" I whine, sitting up on the bed. "Hm?" He mumbles, his eyes still glued to the screen.

"I'm bored. Can we do something?" I say again. "I'm busy, babe." He says, his fingers flicking furiously across the keyboard. "You've been on that game for over 4 hours, I went out for 3 of them and you're still playing. Can't  I just spend a bit of time with you? You can go back on afterwards." I complain, starting to get annoyed.

"Just give me a bit, y/n" he mumbles. I get fed up so I hop off of the bed and leave the room, going to the kitchen to try and entertain myself. I get out 4 slices of bread and tomatoes, avocado and lettuce to make toastier for Corbyn and I.

I put together the toastie and put in under the grill, before connecting my phone to the speaker and playing some music. I just stand there. I stand there thinking so many things, but the main thought that's bugging me is if he even loves me anymore. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I'm a serious over-thinker.

I think of all the different possibilities in almost all situations, making it hard to have close bonds with people. It's different with Corbyn, though. He knows about my anxiety and how I over-think and so he constantly reassures me.

My thoughts are interrupted by the sizzling noise from the grill, letting me know that the toasties are done. I take them out and cut them up, putting them on two plates. I leave mine on the kitchen counter and take Corbyn's up to him, placing it down on his desk next to his keyboard, then leaving without saying a word.

"Babeee" Corbyn says, running down the stairs. "Hm?" I mumble, mocking him from earlier as I finish eating my toasty and clean up the kitchen. "I'm done now."  He says, hugging me from behind. As tempting as it is to turn around in his arms and hug him back, I don't want him to think he can ignore me all morning and just get my attention whenever he wants.

"Yeah well, now I'm busy. You'll have to wait." I say nonchalantly as I continue to clean the kitchen. "Okay, what's up with you?" He says, stepping back. I loudly sigh and put down everything I'm holding.

"You've been playing that goddam video game for like, 5 hours,  Corbyn. I was out for 3 of those 5 hours. I've been so bored and I want to actually do something with my boyfriend and not just sit there bored out of my mind, but every time I asked, you just brushed me off and continued playing. And now, when I'm actually busy doing something worth being busy for, you want my attention and get annoyed when I brush you off once. I don't get it, Corbyn." I burst, the words spilling from my mouth before I could stop them. Tears had formed in my eyes while ranting, but I forced myself to keep them in as it makes me feel SO vulnerable.

"I'm sorry baby" Corbyn whispers after standing there in shock for a few seconds, walking forward and engulfing me in his warm embrace. I wrap my arms around his torso and bury my face in his neck, melting in his arms.

"We can do whatever you want, princess. I'm finished with the game." He mumbles, his head resting on top of her's. "I just wanna cuddle." I mumble into his chest. He lets out a quiet laugh before taking my hand and walking upstairs to his bedroom. He lays down at the top of the bed and opens his arms, "C'mere."

I shuffle across to his bed and climb on, laying on top on Corbyn. I wrap my arms around his waist and he runs his fingers through my hair, making me fall asleep.
