Betrayal | Jonah Marais

"Hey babe" Jonah says wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Hey" I say leaning up and pecking him on the lips.
"ew gross" Zach says looking away. I laugh and pick up my sandwich, biting into it.
"What time are you leaving tomorrow?" I ask. The boys are going on tour around America starting off in New York and they fly out tomorrow.
"Early morning, around 5:00am" Corbyn says. I nod and smile at Jonah before pecking his lips again.
"We should probably start packing" Jonah says.
"Cya sometime soon" Jonah says before walking off to go pack along with the other boys.
"Yo chloe" I say sitting next to her on the couch.
"Flights booked" She says. The boys dont know but we are going to New York as well to surprise them.
"Nice fam" I say before quietly sneaking into my bedroom and packing up my clothes. This is weather going to be amazing or a disaster.

*The next morning*

"I hate aeroplanes" I shudder sitting in one of the same seats of the aeroplane.
"whaat? I love them" Chloe says.
"You haven't been on over fifty in your entire lifetime" I say, plugging in my music, zoning out the rest of the world. I close my eyes and relax as i feel the plane take off into the sky. Just relax y/n, you'll be fine. It's only a few hours plane ride.
"Excuse me" I hear a small voice say. I peel open my eyes and see a small child standing next to my seat.
"A-are you y/n L/n?" She asks.
"Yes i am dear" I smile down at her. She has big blue eyes and her blonde hair is tied up in two pigtails.
"M-my sister is a big fan of your music but she is too scared to come say hi" She says. I look behind me and down the aisle and see a girl, older than the one in front of me but identical to the one I front of me. I smile and signal for her to come over.
"H-hi" she says.
"Hey, Your sister says your a fan of my music?" I ask.
"Yeah can you um sign this for me please?" She asks holding out a photo of me.
I smile and pull out a pen from chloes pencil case.
"What's your name dear?" I ask.
"Catalina" she says
I click the pen top and sign the picture making sure to add a small note on their as well.
'Shine a light on what you love and dont stop dreaming Catalina <3' Is what i write before handing her back the picture.
"Thank you so so much" She says with a huge smile on her face.
"No worries hunny" I say smiling back.
"So Catalina, tell me what do you like to do?" I ask. I always try and make conversation with my fans, and plus i love talking to them.
"I really really really love surfing and dancing" She says.
"Wow really! You should teach me how to surf, I'm horrible at it" I laugh. She lets out a small giggle and nods.
"Here" I say handing her a piece of paper with my email on it.
"You ever need me ill be there" I say. Now its not often i hand out my email or phone number but she's to cute to not offer.
"Thank you so much" she says.
"Cat mommy says that you have to come back to your seat because we are landing soon" her sister says.
"Have a nice flight" she says.
"You too dear" I say waving to her.
"Fans are cute as" Chloe says, who i thought was asleep the entire time.
"They are arent they." I say.

*After the plane has landed*

"Taxi!" I yell, a yellow taxi immediately stopping in front of chloe and i. We put our bags in the car trunk and taking a seat in the back.
"Where too ladies?" The taxi driver asks.
"______ music studio please" Chloe says. I stare out of the window as we drive through the city. It tales about 15 minutes before we arrive at the studio.
"Thank you" I say handing the taxi driver some money.
"No worries" he says before driving off.
Chloe and i walk in, leaving our bags in a room off to the side. The lady at the front tells us where to find the boys and we walk to the elevator, taking it up to the 4th floor.

The metal steel doors open and my face drops. Standing there is Jonah, kissing some other girl.
"Jonah!" Chloe says seeing the scene. All heads turn to us, a few gasps escaping a few peoples lips. "Y/n i-its not what it looks like" Jonah says.
"Babe who's this?" The girl asks. Angry tears well up in my eyes.
"So you don't just cheat on me, but you tell EVERYONE as well, what's am i too you? AM I JOKE TO YOU!?" I yell.
"Y/n I'm so sorry" Jonah says walking up to me. I look up at him, tears falling down my cheeks.
"Babe please" Jonah says.
"I always knew-"
"I always knew that loving you was a losing game" Is all i say before turning and walking out.

"Y/n wait!" Jonah yells running after me. I press the elevator doors and they shut just as he gets to the doors. I slump down the wall and cry. What did i expect, he's world famous, and i only have a little fame. I was never worthy. I dont bother getting my bags and i just walk out of the building. I place my hands in my pockets not walking anywhere in particular.
"Y/n?" I know that voice.
"Catalina" I say with a sad smile "hi"
"Why are you crying?" She asks.
"Boy troubles" Is all i say. She walks up to me and warps her small arms around me, hugging me. The water works start up again. She hugs me the entire time i cry.
"I'm sorry hun, I shouldn't be crying on you" I say.
"It's ok, when i was at ,y lowest your music helped me, so its the least i can do" She says. Catalina i think you are my guardian angel.
"Oh Cat you are my shining light" I say grabbing her face. She looks at me confusingly.
"I shouldn't be crying over a boy, I'm y/n L/n! I inspire people all over the world no matter if that is 10 or 1000 people. I was put on this planet to inspire people with my music not cry over some stupid boy" I say.
"Yeah!" She agrees, nodding her head.
"Thank you so much Catalina" I say before kissing her forehead and saying goodbye.
"Keep in touch with me k" I say. She nods and waves before walking off into the crowd.

"Y/n!" I hear Jonah say from behind me. I turn around standing strong.
"I'm so so sorry, and the boys can vouch for me that nothing was happening between me and that girl, she came onto me." He says.
"But you kissed her" I say.
"No, you walked in as she kissed me i didnt kiss back i promise, you are the only girl i will ever love y/n, i-i cant live without you, i love you" He says.
"right now i  just need some space" I say before kissing him and walking off into the crowd, losing him.

*A month later*

"Cat You ready to do this?" I ask holing a surf board under my arm.
"I was born ready" she says. We run into the surf and wait for a big wave to come.
"Whooooo!" We yell as we catch the wave. It's been a month since the incident and I haven't seen chloe or the boys since, i just needed some time away.
"That was amazing!" I say, high-fiving Cat.
"Ima go get something to drink, you want anything?" I ask.
"I'm good, ima catch this next wave" She says surfing off.
"Be careful!" I yell at her before walking up to where we set up our beach towels.
"shit sorry i didnt see you there" I say as i run into someone.
"Y/n?" The person i bumped into was Jonah.
"Hi" I say.
"Y-you look amazing" he says. It's true, Over the  last month I focused on myself and my career.
"You do as well" I say.
"..."
"Oh who cares" I say before kissing him. As much as i dont want to admit it, i miss this, i miss him.
"I love you too"
