Saturday morning, before the party starts
As I'm putting on my last bit of makeup my mother walks in my room, "hey, (y/n) put this necklace on it would be so cute on you"
I look at her with raised eyebrows, "really"
"Yes, (y/n) I'm serious it will match your outfit" I sigh and turn back around so she can put it on
"There see you look, beautiful" I smile slightly as I look into the mirror
It doesn't look that bad
