[M] Chapter 16 : Stay

In a blink of an eye, three months passed by.

Chaewon and Minju were happily in a relationship as they enjoyed every moment together. It's not like their relationship was a secret. People were just too dumb to not figure it out.

"Oh you're done with the student council work?" Chaewon asked Minju who came running to her.

"Yup did you wait long?" Minju asked with guilt in her eyes "I'm sorry it took too long"

Chaewon assured her that it was alright and patted her head before gently interlocking their hands.

"Let's go. It's already six. I have somewhere I want to take you to" Chaewon smiled at the girl, full of love.

On the way there, the two engaged in a casual conversation while listening to some music. The place they arrived to was very familiar to Minju.

"Isn't this the place you took me to some time ago?"

That place was the isolated hill where the night view of the whole city could be seen.

"Yup"

"Wow it still looks beautiful" Minju exclaimed as she observed the city lights.

A comfortable silence engulfed them as they felt comfort in each other's presence.

Despite being together for only three months, the bond shared between them was deeper than anything. They both trust and relied on each other, sharing their thoughts every so often.

Turning to look at Minju, Chaewon broke into a wide grin. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have Minju in her life.

"Minju-yah" She called out to her.

"Hmm?"

"I love you"

The simple confession by Chaewon caught Minju off guard but the girl composed herself to prevent her face from blushing and replied.

"Me too unnie..... I love you"

That was the only thing necessary for Chaewon to lean in and close the gap between their lips. This time with no more phone calls to interrupt them.

"Goodnight Minguri" Chaewon waved at her after tip-toeing to peck Minju's lips sweetly.

Chaewon was always teased by Minju for being shorter than her despite being the elder one between the two and Chaewon would always pout at the younger girl's words.

Secretly, however, Chaewon loved tip-toeing to kiss Minju. Of course, her tsundere self would never tell her 'Minguri' about it.

Turning back, Chaewon slipped towards her car when she was stopped by a small tug on her wrist. She looked back to see Minju shyly looking down.

"Do you want to...... stay over tonight?" Minju asked with redness creeping up onto her ears "No one's home today"

That made Chaewon's heart start thumping faster, with a pink tint on her cheeks. A long train of thoughts went through her head.

In other words, she was internally panicking. Although she had a straight(gay) face on.

This expression of hers gave Minju the wrong idea.

"I-i mean it's o-okay if y-you don't w-want to" Minju started ranting "Y-you know what? Forget i-it"

"Wait.....I would love to" Chaewon interrupted her.
