Chapter 13 : Fireworks

Yena's POV

After waiting for Yuri to pour her heart out, I decided to speak up.

"Hey...."

She looked at me.

"Since we're already here, let's  go to the amusement park"

"Okay...."

Although she still looked down, I could see her eyes sparkle when I mentioned amusement park.

I paid for the tickets and we went in. By then, she had already cheered up.

"Waaaa Yena-ah there's the roller coaster over there. Oh oh I see crepes too. Oh my god the hair bands are so cute. This is heaven!!!!" She jumped up and down in excitement as she shook my shoulders like a little kid.

I  just chuckled at her. She's such a child. Before I could say anything, she had already dragged me to a souvenir store.

"Yena look at this" She took a duck hair band and put it on me "Hehehe It suits you"

Then she put a hamster hairband on herself. We paid for it and went out.

"Hmm where should we start with"

"THE ROLLERCOASTER" She turned to me with a wide smile.

"R-rollarcoaster?"

"YESSSS" She held my hand and ran to the rollercoaster.

To be honest, I was terrified of rollercoasters. Like nonono I can actually faint while riding one. But I knew Yuri loved them. Trying not to look scared, we went on a cart.

"Waaa This is so exciting"

"Hahaha yeah..."

I could feel my palms start to get sweaty. I gulped and prepared myself for what was about to come. Slowly, it started moving.

"Hey ducky" She tapped my shoulder "Don't tell me.... Are you afraid of rollercoasters?"

"What? O-o course n-AHHHHH"

Before I could finish my sentence, it dropped down and went fast down the tracks.

I shut my eyes tight as I felt like my soul was about to leave my body. Just then I felt a hand hold mine. I squeezed it and screamed.

After what felt like forever, the ride was over. With shaky legs I lied on a bench to calm my beating heart down. Just then, something cold came into contact with my forehead.

"Ah"

"Hahaha" Yuri laughed "You could've told me that you hate rollercoasters you know"

She handed me the bottle of water.

"Thanks" I gulped it all down in one go "I'm okay now"

"Now where should we go?"

"Hmmm"

"How about the haunted house?"

"T-the haunted house?" Yuri said as her whole face went pale.

"Yup" I quickly grabbed her hands and pulled her to the said place.

The lights were dim and horrifying screams filled the air. Evil laughter sounded all throughout the haunted house.
