Third Person POV
"RINGGGG" Minju was woken up from her slumber by the constant ringing of her alarm. She lazily switched off the alarm and was about descend off to dreamland again when she remembered that it was the first school day of the second semester. Letting out a groan, she dragged herself to the bathroom to prepare herself for school.

"Eomma what's for breakfast?" Minju asked as she sat on a chair facing the croaky wooden table. "Morning to you too Appa" she added as she saw her dad reading a newspaper on the other end of the table.
"Pancakes are ready on the table Minju-ya" Mrs.Kim exclaimed as she went near Minju to kiss her cheek. Mr.Kim just smiled n gave her a silent nod.
Minju ate her breakfast, savoring each and every bite while enjoying the comfortable atmosphere of the blissful morning.

Minju POV
"Minju-yaaaaa Wait for meeeee"
I turned back as I heard the all-so-familiar Busan accent of my one and only best friend—Jo Yuri. Yuri is in the same grade as I am and although she still speaks in her native accent, she's been here in Seoul since she was in middle school. Still rocking her cute bangs and puppy-like facial structure, she ran over to where I am with a wide smile plastered on her face.
"Its been a while Joyul" I greeted her with a smile and patted her head. She giggled and nodded before walking beside me as we made our way inside the school building.

The hallways were crowded as usual, with students from various classes and grades communicating with their friends happily on the first day of the new semester. As per my duty as the Student Council President, Yuri(who is the vice-president), made our way to the student council room. As I walk by, I could feel the stares and hear the exclaims of admiration the students let out for me.
"OMG She's so pretty"
"Help me I think I'm going to faint"
"MINJU-SUNBAE PLS GO OUT WITH ME"
"Our president is dazzling gorgeous woahhh"
I was used to the attention and just smiled in the most friendly way as possible to the surrounding students. All those enthusiastic remarks continued until someone screamed the name of the person I detested the most—
"EVERYONE KIM CHAEWON IS HERE"
—Kim Chaewon. The troublemaker of Enozi High. I hate her and she hates me. I hate how she always had that confident smirk plastered on her face as if she was looking down on everyone else. Oh wait-she IS looking down on everyone. Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, her father is the owner of the biggest clothing brand in Korea. On top of being a richass spoiled brat, she was also, as quoted by the other girls at school—a "girl crush". Basically a flirt. I rolled my eyes as I saw her wink at me from amidst the crowd.
"F*cking player" I mumbled in disgust.
Chaewon POV
My morning started off.....rough. From the moment I stepped into the school, all those girls just started screaming my name.
"CHAEWON-AH YOURE SO HOT"
"What a bother" I thought to myself as I forcefully faked a smile and waved at the fan girls. I lusciously flipped my reddish-orange hair and was about to continue my way in when something ,more like someone, caught my eye.
Kim Minju. The oh-so-perfect student council president. A pretty face with a pretty brain. In my opinion—boring.
Everyone , and by everyone I mean the whole damn school, knows of the history between the two of us. Well, I didn't know that sticking pictures of Pepe the Frog on her Biology homework would make her EXTREMELY mad. I mean she kinda resembles it. Her flustered look and her angry expressions were entertaining honestly, unlike the "boring" her now. And this is why I enjoy messing with her. To be entertained during the dull school hours.
Back to the present, our eyes met and the moment they did, I winked at her without wasting a chance. To my amusement, she rolled her eyes and mumbled something I couldn't exactly make out. Nevertheless, I smirked and made my way to my class as the bell had already rang.
