What if I told you
That I'm standing.
Behind you,
Next to you,
In the corner,
Or in front of you.
You can't see me.
Even with the lights off.
But all you can see is
This small glow.
A small glow coming
From your window.
I'm not always outside though.
I may be inside.
I may be watching you,
Through one of the pictures,
Hanging on your wall.
I could be watching
Through the calendar,
Hanging beside your pictures.
I'm your mirror,
Standing against the wall.
But I can be your tv.
Sitting on your desk.
Don't forget that I'm watching.
I'm always here.
Don't pretend you don't know,
Because it's true.
And I will never leave.
