Zuko's POV:
I was waiting in my room for Sora to come back and I couldn't get that image of her from my mind. The water covered her from the waist down, but the rest left little to the imagination. Her crossed arms covered her breasts, but she was still naked. I found myself blushing at the thought.
"Why did that affect me so much?" I asked myself in my head.
I shook my head and decided to go see if Sora was back. It was well past 30 minutes. I asked the crew and they said she hadn't returned. I stomped angrily to the hot spring to find her. I braced myself to make sure that I didn't catch any more glimpses, but found the area completely empty. The only thing that caught my eye was the rocks hitting out of the ground.
"Earthbenders," I thought.
I ordered the crew to bring me a rhino so that I could go look for her. I grabbed her clothes and set out to find her as soon as possible. I had no idea what was about to happen. What if I never saw her again? What if I had lost her?
No, I couldn't think like that. She had to be ok. I knew she was capable. She could handle herself. I would find her.
I followed the tracks left behind for hours, and I was beginning to give up hope when I heard a voice.
"She's a feisty one, isn't she," the voice said.
My heart stopped as I heard Sora respond.
"Get off of me! Don't touch me," she snarled.
I immediately ran into the clearing and saw Sora chained up. She had her hands behind her back and her legs tied together as well. She was only in her undergarments and I could see the Earth Kingdom soldier towering over her. He had her face in his hands and he looked like he was about to kiss her. She was writhing away from his touch. My blood boiled.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" I shouted before blasting fire at the man, making sure to avoid Sora.
I had never seen her look so happy to see me and I'm sure I looked the same. I swung my foot and broke the chains with my armor. She got up immediately and clung to my arm.
"Zuko," she cried out with tears in her eyes.
I had never seen her like this before. She had so much fear in her eyes that they were almost unrecognizable.
"I'm here. You're safe," I assured her.
"Surrender yourselves," the soldier I had blasted called out, "It's five against two. You're clearly outnumbered."
"And you're clearly outmatched," I heard Sora growl before immediately launching into her attack.
I followed suit and blasted a ball of fire at the first soldier to run at me. He pulled up a wall of rock to block it and quickly hopped over it. He tried attacking from the air, but I dodged it at the last minute. He began to throw a boulder at me, but I saw Sora elbow him in the back of the head. He immediately fell to the ground unconscious. I shot at blast of fire over her shoulder at the soldier that was coming at her from behind. She turned around and went after the next soldier as I went after the remaining two. They lifted two boulders over their heads to smash me with, but I took the opportunity to blast fire at their feet. They lost their concentration and the rocks fell of them, knocking them out. I looked over to see Sora on her knees, sobbing next to the soldier she had taken care of.
I ran to her side and grabbed her in my arms. She hugged me back as she cried uncontrollably. I could feel her shaking in fear. What had they done to her?
"Shhh, shhhh. You're ok. I'm here," I soothed.
"Don't leave me. Please don't leave me," she said as she continued crying.
