"Morning!" Ash mumbled, nuzzling his neck into Blaire's neck as he wrapped his arms around her. She put her phone in her pocket and closed her locker.

"Morning." She giggled. He took her hand and they walked down the hallway." Someone tired?"

"Just a bit." Ash yawned." It's almost regionals. I'm terrified."

"Don't be. My brother maybe extremely talented, but we'll win. I know we will." Blaire said.

That evening, Blaire was lying on her bed, reading a book. Blaine walked in and jumped onto the spot next to her with a wide smile.

"You're cheery today." She chuckled, closing her book and looking at him. He looked up at her, his smile not faltering.

"I like Kurt." He said. Blaire smiled." I like like Kurt. He was singing blackbird earlier and it just clicked. I- he's so sweet and kind and he's amazing!"

"My brothers got a crush!" Blaire said in a sing song voice. Blaine blushed." And it's one that maybe reciprocated this time!"

"Do not bring that monstrosity up." Blaine chuckled.

"I'm already planning out your future wedding." Blaire stated.

"Calm down, gay marriage isn't legal and I haven't even asked him out yet." Blaine chuckled.

"But you will?" Blaire asked. Blaine shrugged." You have to Blaine! My brother and my best friend. Ah I'm excited!"

"I can tell." Blaine laughed.

"Guys, I've got some bad news." Mr Schue announced in glee club the next day." You know how we decided on Sing by My Chemical Romance for Regionals? Well, I hold in my hand a cease and desist letter from the band. We can't do it."

"It was the perfect anthem!" Puck said.

"How much do you wanna bet that coach Sylvester has something to do with this?" Mercedes asked.

"One step ahead of you." Mr Schue said." She made up some lie about me and now we can't do it."

"So, what're we gonna do now?" Blaire asked.

"I think we should write original songs for regionals." Rachel suggested.

"All those in favour of voting Rachel down a second time?" Santana said. Almost everyone raised their hands, including Blaire and Ash.

"No. I think Rachel is right." Quinn said. Everybody put their hands down." This team works best when we push ourselves and do something a little different."

"That's true. But if all the other teams are doing amazing songs we're not gonna be so good." Mercedes explained.

"You're right. We're not gonna be as good. We're gonna be better!" Quinn said." We won't be using other people's words or music. It'll be our own. Our heart. Our soul. Not just our voices."

"Quinn has a point." Blaire said. Quinn smiled at her." I agree with her."

"We have a really talented song writer in our midst." Quinn continued." Rachel. I was thinking maybe you and I could write a song together?"

"I'm with Quinn and Rachel. I mean, if these two can agree on something, it's probably an idea worth considering." Finn stated.

"Wait, so, suddenly you two are writing the music for regionals? No way! I think that everyone should have a chance to write a song." Santana said.
