Prom Queen

Lauren, Santana and Brittany entered Glee Club talking about prom dresses as prom wasn't that far away.

"Have you got yours yet?" Ash asked Blaire.

"Yeah I went shopping with my mom yesterday and we found one. It's really pretty." Blaire explained.

"You could wear the ugliest dress and I'd still think you'd look stunning." Ash said. Blaire smiled and kissed him." What color is this dress then? Just so I can match up a little bit."

"It's burgundy." Blaire responded. Ash gave a nod of approval.

"You're going up for queen. You can't make your own prom dress." Santana said to Lauren." Prom is like our oscars, it's seriously like the most important night of our lives."

"What about getting married?" Lauren asked.

"Oh you can get married as many times as you want. You only have one shot at your junior prom." Quinn said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Mercedes asked as she entered the room.

"Prom dresses." Lauren replied as Mercedes sat down.

"Thank god I don't have to worry about that. I'm not going." Mercedes said.

"Why not?" Blaire asked.

"Yeah why not?" Kurt asked.

"Because nobody's asked me." She answered.

"Alright guys. Prom." Mr Schue began.

"Please tell me we're not doing songs about prom?" Sam asked.

"Nope. We are the prom." Mr Schue replied." Figgins has asked us to perform."

"Let's do Run Joey Run!" Rachel said excitedly.

"Now, I know this isn't ideal with Nationals coming up but we really don't have a choice." Mr Schue continued, ignoring Rachel's suggestion." And we could really use the money. But I know that prom is a special rite of passage. I'm gonna make sure that all of you guys get a chance to enjoy the dance, too. So we're gonna stagger the performances so that each and everyone of you has a lot of time to dance with your dates."

"Excuse me." Mercedes said as she stood up. Everyone watched as she left the room.

"Is she okay?" Mr Schue asked.

"She doesn't have a date." Blaire replied.

"So? I don't have a date. I'm just going to dance and then all your dates are gonna ignore you and come dance with me so your dates are really my dates." Brittany explained. Ash shook his head and held onto Blaire a little tighter. Blaire chuckled.

"I'm gonna go talk to Mercedes." Kurt said.

"No. Let me." Rachel said, walking off to find Mercedes.

Blaire walked into the living room, where Blaine was watching the TV after coming back from a date with Kurt. Blaire passed him a packet of chips and sat down beside him.

"Kurt asked me to prom." Blaine mumbled, not taking his eyes off of the screen.

"What did you say?" Blaire asked, looking at him.

"Told him about the nightmare Sadie Hawkins dance last year at our old school." Blaine replied with a sigh.

Blaire couldn't find Blaine anywhere. She rushed out of the gym and down the street to the back of the school. She saw three guys beating up two other ones.
