"Hello, winners!" Rachel greeted as they walked into glee club. Eddie was sat on the chair next to Anastasia, scribbling on some paper. Artie, Santana and Brittany were in the room." I don't know about you guys but I'm still basking in the glow of our first of many championship trophies."

"Well, the four of us want our champions to celebrate another champion." Kurt began.

"Katniss Everdeen!" Brittany cheered.

"Close." Blaire said as Ash revealed what it was by moving the whiteboard to reveal another one with writing on it.

"Burt Bacharach!" Ash said.

"Burt Bacharach has written 73—— count 'em, 73——top 40 hits." Kurt explained." He's also won three oscars, two golden globes, a boat load of Grammys and his music has been featured on everything from The Simpson's to Goodfellas."

"And you can't help but grin when you listen to his music." Rachel added." His songs are uplifting and theatrical and optimistic."

"We need to soak up all of his uplifting energy as we get ready for sectionals." Ash continued." Which are five weeks away, but I guarantee you, Vocal Adrenaline and the Warblers are doing everything in their power to regain their former glory."

"But fear not, because we have a secret weapon." Blaire explained, pointing to the door.

"Is that my cue?" Mercedes asked as she walked in. Everyone cheered.

"Diva!" Artie cheered. Eddie glanced up slightly and then got off the chair, going over to Ash and lifting his arms up.

"Up!" He said. Ash smiled and picked him up, resting him against his hip.

"Yes, I am here to mentor you and yes, these might be real diamonds, and yes, my single Shakin' my Head is number 89 on iTunes." Mercedes explained. Blaire smiled at her and then glanced at Ash. Ash was smiling at Mercedes whilst cuddling Eddie, who's head was leaning against his chest. Blaire smiled even wider." So, which one of you wants me to mentor you?"

"Me!" Almost everyone begged. Apart from Anastasia, who was sat quietly on her seat. Ash noticed his sisters odd behaviour.

At lunch, Blaire was sat with Eddie in the empty choir room, eating a packed lunch and playing cars with him. Ash walked around the school and found his sister stood by her locker that had once been Blaire's. She was adjusting her ponytail in the mirror.

"What do you want?" She asked, looking at him in the mirror.

"You seem off today. I was just wondering if everything was okay." Ash said. Anastasia closed her locker and looked up at him.

"Dad still doesn't want me being in the glee club. I'm enjoying myself but he just sees it as a waste of time." She explained.

"And you don't wanna leave because of Madison." Ash stated. Anastasia looked up at him in a panic with a blush on her face." Oh please...I know you like her. Your surname is Summers so if you're anything like me you fall in love way too quickly."

"Um." Was all Anastasia could say.

"You look at her the way I looked at Blaire when we became friends. I was head over heels and so are you. Just, ask her out. You never know...she might say yes and you may get married in the future." Ash explained with a chuckle.

"It's not that simple. I don't even know if she likes girls and if not then it gets awkward. She's my best friend." Anastasia explained. Ash smiled.

"There's no harm in asking." Ash said.

That night, Ash had driven to his dads new house in Lima. It was near where he used to live. Blaire was at home, taking care of their nephew. Ash got out of the car and knocked on the door. A woman answered it.
