Have you ever been to a party and not know anyone but one person and they are with their friends and you feel too awkward to talk to anyone? Well that's exactly what I felt when I walked outside. There were kids everywhere from 7th graders to seniors in high school, and they were all staring at ME.
"Oh, did I forget to mention that all supernaturals love to tell what kind of supernatural other people are?" Mara said. Well that would have been good information, not everyone enjoys being stared at by the whole student body.
Everywhere I looked there was something to see. I saw two girls practicing their transformation into wolves, three vampires playing football, and two mermaids (excuse me, water nymphs) bending water from the fountain in the center of the courtyard. This was all so overwhelming I am surprised I haven't fainted yet. Then again, this is what I had always dreamed. Ever since I was little I had yearned for adventure. Things like Harry Potter, The Infernal Devices, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and Percy Jackson had told me that this was all real but reality had crushed it. Now look where I am now. Screw reality.
Looking forward, I could see a podium near a small forest that surrounded the crowd. The guy that had greeted my family when I first got here was stepping up to say something. My family, wait a second. My family. If I am a supernatural, that means my family is too. I'll have to ask Mara about that. My thoughts were interrupted by the man clearing his throat.
"Hello everyone, I am Marvale Calavan, but call me Cal. As you probably know, I am a vampire, so today is very important to me. If you look at the sky you can see that the sunset is orange and red which means today is a blood day, sacred to vampires. Today is a day where it makes it much easier for vampires to transform into bats, much like a full moon for werewolves. Now that you all know what is happening all you vampires may start your transformation. If you need help transforming, just come to me." Cal stepped off the podium and stood a couple feet away.
I felt a buzz and pulled my phone out of my pocket. There was a text from my mom but before I read it I looked at my reflection in the screen. Mara looked at my phone and noticed my reflection too. The color of my right eye was changing from blue to green. Mara eyes widened and she looked at me "Claire?"
Suddenly my head hurt and my left eye turned bright red. All of a sudden, I couldn't hold my weight. I fell on the floor and everything went dark.

So I want to explain that when a chapter says Mara it is in Mara's point of view and when it says Clara it is in Clara's point of view. Just making that clear. For some reason I feel like I should give all my viewers a nickname. Yah I am gonna do that so here are your nickname choices,
A) Snickerdoodles
B) Supernaturals
C) Awesome Turtles
Vote below which one!
