| Alice's POV|
The first thing I noticed was that my body ached. I was disoriented. I have forgotten where I was or why. My eyes were shut tightly and I fluttered them open. I looked up and saw that the ceiling was made of stone. Some small pieces fell down and made soft noises when it hit the ground.
I tried to move. I flexed my fingers at first, just testing if I could move or not. Then it was forearms and then my legs. I could move but it hurt.
I heard a muffled groan besides me and I turned around to see a limp body next to me. I squinted my eyes to see who it was but it was no use. I couldn't see even with my night vision. It was simply too dark.
Where was I? I couldn't remember anything before I blacked out.
Oh God...I wasn't drunk, was I?
Don't be stupid. It will take two bottles of Vodka too actually get tipsy.
True.
I lifted myself with my elbows and let out a groan myself. I looked around but there wasn't much too see except stone and dirt. It was if like I was in a cave.
I stood up, more curious than actually in pain and I wandered around. The more I walked the hotter it felt , until I couldn't stand the heat.
My eyes widen when I stopped at the edge of a cliff and looked down. Lava. I looked up and saw a thin road leading it to the horizon.
I immediately remembered the place. The familiarity of the heat, the road, the dirt and stones. We were in the Underworld. Abruptly a sharp pain grew in my head and I stumbled back, hissing in pain.
Save Bramble.
Opening the portal.
Hades.
Alek.
Alek...?
"Alek!" I suddenly remembered, and I ran back to where I woke up. Now I knew why my body hurt. Going to another dimension meant using a lot of energy. I had more energy than Alek did, it must hurt him like a bitch.
I found Alek still on the ground, not moving at all. My heart sped up out of horror. He's not dead is he? I remembered hearing him groan when I woke up and sighed with relief.
I turned Alek around to see his face and I smiled when I saw he had no bruises or scratches. Besides him was our backpacks and I grabbed it to make sure our stuff was still there.
I turned back to Alek and saw his face twisted with pain and I frowned. I wished I could of given him some of my energy, but it wasn't like that. His long eyelashes brushed his upper cheeks and his long curlish hair covered his forehead. I ran my hands through his hair to sweep it back.
"Time to wake up pretty boy," I muttered. I got on top of him and straddled his hips. I grinned when I heard him moan in pain.
I leaned down so my chest was touching his and kissed his cheeks, his eyelids, his nose, and lastly his lips.
"What the..." Alek snapped his eyes open and sat abruptly making me fall down.
"Ow! Thanks jerk!" I hissed. My body was in pain too!
"Alice?" I looked up to see his astonishing and perfect blue eyes looking at me. My heart fluttered and I began to shiver at his gaze. Alek. My guardian. The person I fell in love with.
"Hmm?" I hummed, my thoughts were clouded. Alek grinned and kneel next to me. He grabbed my wrist and pulled them, making me fall in his chest. I gasped and felt the damn blush creep up my cheeks. I felt him wrapped his hands around me and kissed my hair.
