The announcer for this years sports festival was the ever eccentric Satoshi Kurosawa (also known as Present Mic: The Prequel) accompanied by his scarily fierce older sister Rekka Kurosawa. The pair were a well known hero duo in japan, occasionally having Rekka drift in and out of the top 10. The duo had started teaching at UA just this year so its safe to say they were less than qualified-

However the referee of this years festival was someone even scarier than Rekka. Someone who had the ability to immobilize 20 hero trainees at once with just a glance. Gran Torino. As it happens that same scary man just watched his whole class embarrass themselves infront of potentially thousands of people. Class A were positively pissing themselves.

With a glare Torino started to speak "Now that everyone has calmed down after that fiasco, we can finally start the pledge". Every first year waited eagerly hoping for it to be them "Can Yagi Toshinori please come and make a pledge". Everyone sighed, whether it was from relief or disappointment.

Uh oh. Its well known that All Might is confident, charismatic and great with people but its not like he was always like that. Especially not in his first year at UA- With a gentle shove from Nemuri, Toshinori slowly approached the pavilion where Torino and a microphone waited for him.

"What do i even say? A warning might've been nice, s i r. My mind has gone completely blank. Why me. WHERE IS THE SCRIPT??!" All these thoughts crammed the blondes brain, putting him in a zombie like state until he was stood in front of the menacing microphone. He saw the encouraging faces of his class however they were drowned out my the hundreds of stares coming his way

Uh oh was right.

"I pledge that i will have a better pledge by the end of today. Is it ok if i can redo this later, sir?" Toshinori declared with absolutely zero confidence. Torino looked like he wanted to jet right into the sun while his classmates winced a knowing smile. Once again the onlookers were silent as the blonde looked like he was considering joining Torino on the sun.

A hearty chuckle came from the announcers booth as Satoshi Kurosawa tried to improvise the transition into the rules of the first game. All while his older sister, Rekka, continued to look dumbfounded; her bushy red eyebrows knitted closely together as she analyzed Toshinori and his absence of confidence. She would have to change that for certain.

After a whole bunch of boring explanations, Torino revealed the first event to be an Obstacle Course (wow I'm so creative, i scare myself). All quirks were allowed and only the top 41 would make it through to round two. It was time for everyone to prove themselves worthy of the title of Future Pro Hero.

The first years made their way to the track with mixed feelings of excitement and anxiousness. This was where it gets good. This was the UA's famous sports festival that replaced the Olympics. There was no time to think, now was the time to act.
