Chapter Five- Past To Present Love

(Amy's POV)

It was Forth period and I was in Math. Luckily I was table buddies with Tails so that made my life easier.

"So then you carry the 3 and add them together" Tails said pointing to my sheet of paper.

"Ohhhh- thanks Tails!"

Tails smiles and continues talking to some other Fox next to him.

I look up at the time, 9:58, two more minutes before lunch.. finally.

" Amy is that you?"

I turn around and see a familiar face. I see her model figure and a pair of Bat wings.

Oh god..It's Rouge.

" Rouge? You go to school..?" I ask.

"Why of course I do" she replies." How do you think I get my genius looks?"

I look at her for a minute before asking.

"Let me guess, your here to keep an Eye on Shadow?"

Rouge looks surprised and smiles at me.

" Well I guess some people aren't as dumb as they look" she says.

Is she calling me dumb? Eh I won't let it hurt me..

'RRRIINGGGGG!!!'

You see all the students push and shove out to the hallways as Rouge and I stick by eachother and talk.

"So deary..it's been a While! How are you?" Rouge asks.

I look around and try to find Sonic.

" eh.. I'm fine. Just looking for Sonic"

"Your still after that hedgehog.." Rouge mumbles

"Yes I am! Sonikku is still the man I look up too!"

"Maybe it's time you found someone who's closer to your League Amy" she says.

My league?

"Excuse me..?" I bicker.

Rouge just laughs.

..She's such a jerk.

" No! No sorry!" she giggles to herself..

"Sometimes I come off a bit rude..."

I give her a look.

"Yeah... no kidding. You must get it from Shadow." I say.

Rouge covers her mouth as she laughs.

" Oh Rosey I've ALLWAYS been this way"

Did she just call me Rosey.

..She has a Death wish I swear.

" I'm gunna go before lunch is over. See you Rouge." I tell her as I walk off.

She waves and walks over to Knuckles and begins being clingy like normal.

-Lunch-

I head to Sonic as he waves over to me. I blush at him a bit.

There's Always a voice saying I need to get over Sonic but I just can't.

"Hey Ames! Since I saved you and all do you wanna head out for Lunch?" He asked with Glimmering Eyes.

Sonic just asked me to lunch. I'm trying not to scream right now.

"Just you and I?" I ask.

Sonic nods and holds his hands out. I take them and we speed through the school thanks to Sonics wondrous speed.

Right.. Shadow mentioned it earlier...Sonics the king of this school.

A couple weeks before school opens up, all top tier students were asked to come and see who's the strongest for the title of 'King'.

Sonic won thanks to his 16.3 Power Ranking overall.

"you have got a lot Faster Sonikku!" I yell.

He blushes and sets me down. We are in front of my Favorite Lunch restaurant, Sonic didn't forget.

" Let's go in!" He exclaims.

I smile and nod as I follow him in inside.

Sonic gets us the best window seat and sits across from me.

"So you getting the regular?" He ask.

"Actually no, I'm digging Salad all of a sudden." I give him a slight smile as the waiter comes by.

After talking for some time Sonic tells me we have to get back to school.

What a time I had with him. I wonder if this will be the end though.. will he just stop here? Or will he-

" Hey Ames? I have something to tell you"

I was caught off by Sonics Voice.

"Yes.?"

"So I've been thinking. You have been my number one fangirl for quite some time.. and I know you admire me.." Sonic said to me.

Wait... is he-

" So I wanted to do something for all the effort you've put into taking care of me and loving me Ames"

"Sonic what are you sayi-"

" Ames, will you please join me on my adventures..?"
