Chapter Thirty- The Awakening

(Amy's POV)

I felt an that eery feeling again from before. But it was all around me this time.

All I could see is bubbles and a glass screen in front of me.

Where am I?

I looked around for something.

Someone.

Anyone.

After awhile I see a figure open the door behind the glass.

I try to speak but all that comes out are bubbles.

Seems my mouth is tapped shut under the oxygen mask I'm wearing.

The figure taps a button and looks up at me.

"Amy?" The Figure asks.

I look over.

I knew that voice.

Well...

I think I do.

I put my paws on the glass around me. I try to move but the multiple cords and tubes wrapped around my arms and legs don't allow much movement.

I bang on it slightly with my wrist.

He presses the button again.

"It's alright Amy, your safe here.." He assures me.

I look over at him.

Sonic..

"I cant let you out but, I can tell you what's going to happen from here on out.." He says.

There's no sign of regret on his face. No sign of sadness. This isn't the same Sonic I met years prior.

"We work for the Shadow Council now.. your no longer working with the freedom fighters.." he smiles. "No more worrying about the world. It's all solved now"

I bang on the glass again.

The Shadow Council..?

"This is for the best Amy.. they can take care of us.."

"We can go and live a crime free life.. just us two.." he smiles. "No more Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, no Government in our way.!"

"NOTHING!" He yells in excitement.

I try to bang on the glass harder.

SONIC..

"I cant wait for you to complete.." he says with a grin.

"I'll be able to give you everything back that I stole..."

"Pay you back for all those times I ran away.."

He looks up at me.

"Once your complete.. I can finally destroy Shadow...." He laughs with a evil tone and looks away rubbing his hands together.

What..?

"I just had to find what was keeping him together.."
