It was silent until he spoke:

" So what are u going to do tomorrow? It is your last day in London before flying back to Cleveland isn't it?"

„ I'm just gonna finish packing but that's all. And yes it is, but why are u asking me about that?"

„I wanted to know if there's somewhere u wanted to go but didn't have time to, here in London."

„Yes, there is. Élan Café. I always wanted to go there but Liz had no time and I didn't want to go alone"

„Do u want to go there tomorrow? Like, I also just need to finish packing and then I'm free."

"Is this gonna be a date?" You said with your cheeks heating up every time you spoke.

"If u accept my invitation, yes. You wanna go on a date with me?"

„why not? what time are we gonna meet there?"

„I'm obviously picking u up.I invited u and I need to be a gentleman right?"

„I mean, u don't need to." You said, giving a shy smile.

" Pick u up at 4 pm then?"

"Yeap."

"One more thing"

"......"

"Can I have ur phone number? Like, just in case that something comes up or stuff like that, I dunno."

"Sure, can u give me ur phone?"

He grabbed his phone from his back pocket and handed it to u. When he gave u his phone both of your hands touched for a second until u decided to type your number.

" Here it is." U said giving him his phone back.

"Thanks. See ya then!

"Yep. Can't wait."

"Me neither."

You came closer to him, u could smell his perfume. After kissing his cheek, u waved him goodbye and headed to Liz's apartment. You couldn't stop looking at your phone, waiting for him to send u a message. After taking a shower and watching the other half of The fault in our stars, you heard ur phone buzzing on the kitchen counter. You reached for it and picked up, it was an unknown number so u just guessed it was Tom. And it was.

On the phone:

"Hey! It's Tom. I just wanted u to have my number."

"Hello oh alright." U said sobbing

"Are u crying?" Tom asked preoccupied

"Yes, Augustus just died" As the words came out of ur mouth u started crying even more.

"Who is that? Are u with Liz?

"The fault in our stars. U don't know that movie?"

"I've heard of it, yeah, but I never watched it. Jesus, I thought someone really died. Like, in real life."

"What did u mean with I never watched it? Are u insane?"

" I never watched that movie, but I'd be up to watch it with u sometime."

"Of course. And, WE NEED TO WATCH IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. But you will have to endure me crying at the end."

"Okay, I think I can handle that." You could hear him laughing through the phone. "Anyways, tomorrow at 4 pm right?" He said again.

"Yeah, see u. sleep well."

"You too darling."
