***Zed***

I adjusted my t-shirt and made sure that my trousers were on properly as well as putting on my glasses again as I left Tilly's office. She may be a bitch but I wanted to forget about a certain Mate with blue eyes, lovely brown hair and serious sass who I rejected. Tilly was there, willing as she always is, and I took advantage, but that was our deal anyway. Unfortunatly, it didn't help at all. Tilly just didn't do it for me like she once did. It was getting old.

I glanced at my watch. 10:55. Perfect, I was just in time for training the new enforcers.

I'd like to say that I felt no guilt with what passed between Tilly and I not that long ago, seeing that I was the one who rejected her... but I did. I was regretting more and more what I did to Valentine all those years ago. Why had I been so stupid?

I heard footsteps and looked up. Few seconds later, Valentine's scent of sunshine and forest hit my nose. Then I started panicking. I didn't have any where to hide from her before she climbed the steps and saw me. She frowned deeply, but then I heard her take in a breath and her eyes widened. I looked down to study the floor, feeling like absolute shit. She could smell what I had just done with Tilly. She was a werewolf, there was no way she could not notice it. I glanced up and I'm sure that if looks could kill, I'd be shaking the hand of the devil by now.

With murder in her eyes, she stepped forward, crowding me. I may be several inches taller than her, but she was seriously intimidating, not to mention hot. Not the time, Zed! I told myself. She glared me right in the eyes, blue clashing with the metallic silver and gold of my own. "Just know," She hissed, poking her finger at my chest, "that I am not doing this for you." I was confused, do what?

She stepped around me and stormed to Tilly's office. She banged on the door and swung it open. I really hoped that Tilly had composed herself by now. Valentine's nostrils flared and her fists clenched but her face stayed blank. She's smelt the room too it seemed.

"Tilly, I am formally challenging you for the female Beta title. You may accept the challenge or step down. If you accept, come down to the training field in ten minutes. If you so not arrive, it will be assumed that you have stepped down." With that she spun on her heel and marched right past me, straight back, blank face, timed steps and swings of her arms. You could tell from that walk only that she had been in the army.

Tilly was beaten already.

From what I knew of Tilly, she hadn't attended many, if not any, of the pack compulsory training sessions for the 14 to 18 year olds. Once you had shifted for the first time, you were enrolled in a training course that you had to join in on. It trained you to control your wolf and get through the extra-moody-teenager rough patches. Tilly had gone to none. She had no training, and if memory serves, Valentine was top of the class (seeing as she was Beta and so stronger than the normal Omega wolf) and then went to the army for the next four years. The fight wouldn't last long.

Not only did Tilly not have any training experience and was in fact an Omega, she was smaller than the average Werewolf in wolf form. In wolf form, Tilly was about the size of a normal female wild wolf, whereas an average Were was about the size of a Great Dane. Alpha's are around the size of a pony, especially the males.

"Zed!" Tilly cried out from inside her office. I rolled my eyes but went inside. "Did you hear what that... that... bitch said to me?! She challenged me! What, the actual, fuck!" Tilly screeched and paced the office while I seated myself on her desk. Man, it really did stink in here. Valentine would probably request another room for her office and set this place on fire. I know I would if I were in her position.
