Athena ran through the building taking down any Templars in her path, this was getting to be a pain in the ass if she thought about it. When was this 800-year war going to end? Who was going to call for a cease-fire? There was no end in sight despite her mother's involvement to try to keep the peace up until her death. Hell, the only peaceful place was Wakanda for fuck sake! Here she was a 14-year-old assassin trained to kill along with her sisters aiding their mentor Laura Cormac the descendent of the supposed traitor of the Assassin's Shay Patrick Cormac to save her soulmate, Shay Connor Dorian, from the Templars who held him. Athena struck another Templar down with her hidden blade.

Athena's sisters, Sarah and Brandy linked up with her as they found their mentor a sobbing weeping mess over her soulmate. Shay had a gunshot wound to the chest and was bleeding heavily "Hold on Mentor Dorian," she said moving to put a healing balm over the wound. One of which she was proud of. It would seal the wound long enough to get the help one would need. Laura looked at her in shock "I have a ton of Degrees, medicine is one of them, now get your french lover boy and let's go." she said

"Athena, this is where I must leave you and your sisters, this building is rigged to blow and there isn't time for us, the three of you are the hope to end the war. More importantly you Athena." Laura said

"I will not leave you, mentor!" Athena said.

Athena felt her sisters dragging her away "We have to get out of here come on!" Sarah said

"Your mother would be proud of you girls as am I," Laura said.

Athena watched in horror as the building exploded taking their mentors with it the three girls ran as fast as their legs could carry them when she tripped and her head hit a rock, a silver arm grabbed her and lifted her up...

It had been a year since Cory Alibaster and Mary Kid had found the triplets hidden away where the metal armed male had placed them telling them that they would be safe there. Now she owned her mother's company and Cameron Hall, the grand Colonial house that had been added on to since the first Camerons laid the first brick back in the 1600s, the grand old mansion had seen many things, some good some bad. Athena's dark hair blew in the breeze as she stood at the dock, her eyes overlooking the James River the spring weather was perfect here. Not too hot, not too cold, just right for her liking. Athena had spent most of her time cleaning up whoever broke in shortly after he mother died, she found several hidden rooms full of old Assassin texts, none more demanding of her attention than the journal of Edward Kenway, a friend and ally to the Silver Hawk during the golden age of Piracy. Edward kept speaking of a prophecy of a Chalice who would end the war between the Assassins and Templars, but a lot of the history of the Assassins was lost due to the Templars.

It was because of this Athena took charge of what her mother had once done and allowed Assassins and Templars to come to Cameron Hall before they got their new names and information before being sent out into the world.  Athena hoped that her work in Italy would bare more fruit, but what information was there was removed a long time ago, and it seemed like a fool's dream. She was 15 now and she was looking for anything that could help her solve the mystery as to why the two factions started fighting to start with. Things were uneasy between the Assassins and Templars for the longest time, then it just broke down into a bloody war that no side was winning. Desmond Miles had checked in a few days ago after getting a job at a local bar. Quicksilver-blue eyes looked out over the water before she turned back and headed for the house.

***************

A woman with olive skin stepped out of the car as her eyes laid eyes on Cameron Hall, it was beautifully constructed its large greek pillars reminding her of home. A soft sad smile came to her lips as she began to walk up the drive after paying the driver. Her eyes quickly spotting dark hair and olive skin heading into the house. She smiled softly to herself "Alma my child you were right, she would be a fighter, but she is wounded at the loss of a woman who was more of a mother to her than anyone else." she said.

The woman made her way up the path and to the porch. She walked up to the door and knocked. The door opened to reveal Athena Cameron-Stark, the girl mirrored Alma in so many ways it made her heart clench in pain "May I help you?" Athena asked

"I seek the daughter of Amanda Cameron," she said

"I am she and you would be?" the young woman asked

"Peace and Saftey young one, for I am here to speak with you about the prophecy of Alma," she replied.

The young woman looked at her in shocked "Please come inside." Athena said.

She nodded her head "What do you know of Alma of Hope?" Athena asked

"I know she like you was the oldest of three identical triplets with a brother hidden." she explained, "And also like you she was to end the war between the Assassins and Templars, but was murdered in cold blood before a host of witnesses."

Athena looked at her in shock "So she did exist?"

"She did my child, and like you, she was my descendent," she said.

Athena laughed "There is no way in hell that is possible unless you hold the staff of Hermies and are the granddaughter of Leonidas."

She chuckled and waved her hand the bracelet around her wrist becoming the Staff the girl so mentioned "How...how is that even..." Athena began

"The same way you have two soulmates who have been dead for over a hundred years." she said, "Athena, the time has come to unite the Assassins and Templars, but you must use your mother's greatest creation next to you and your sisters."

"And what would that be?" Athena asked

"The Animus," she replied coolly...
