Snap Out Of It Sibrand!

Author's note: Athena visits Sibrand while Cory heads back to 2007 to bring in the Unified Order and two highly trained SHIELD Agents. That if they were any better they would wear Hidden Blades. Enjoy!

Cory couldn't believe her ears the two words she hoped she would never hear came out of the now-dead archer's mouth. The fucker said the two words Hail HYDRA. This was not good at all. HYDRA was the one who caused the war meaning the Head was out there somewhere and they had to lure the son of a bitch out. Somehow anyway unless Athena had a good idea on who the son of a bitch was. Athena, William, Rowan, and Robert joined her, and what men who tried to stop Athena's would have been killer if it wasn't for the barrier that the Sword had put up to protect Athena. She looked at Athena with a serious look on her face "You men heard him as well inform Alma's heir what this gutless son of a coward said." she said

"He said Hail HYDRA, my lady," came the reply. 

Athena began to shake "Of all the damn bastards out there why did it have to be them?" Athena growled.

Cory closed her eyes "It makes sense they fear what could happen if that child was born. They feared they would go challenged anytime they popped their heads out." she said

"In the 1930s and 40s HYDRA killed hundreds if not thousands of Assassins and Templars," Athena said, "My sister lost both of her soulmates to those bastards." 

Cory looked at her in shock "They have brought so much pain and sorrow and to know it was them who killed Alma and her unborn child, I will not rest until they have paid." Athena said

"HYDRA is using Altair, and he doesn't even realize it," she said.

Athena looked at her "He will soon enough." Athena said before turning to William, "Check the food to see if it has been poisoned if it has get rid of it. HYDRA means to start an all-out war between Assassins, Templars, Richard, and Saladin." 

"Yes, My lady at once." William said, "You three come with me." 

"Robert, you need to warn Richard," Athena said

"I am leaving now," Robert said.

Athena then turned to her "Cory return to our timeline and gather the Unified Order, as many as we have to spare at the moment." Athena said

"You're the boss," she said as Athena turned to Rowan.

Cory teleported away as Rowan and many of the Templars who remained looked in shock "Technology of the future is more advanced than what you have today," she explained 

"It would appear so my lady," one said

"You men, go and bring the women, children, and elderly inside." she said, "Any man who is able to fight take them to the armory." 

"At once my lady," they said leaving their posts

"You and I are going to visit Sibrand, and have him block off the harbor," she said

"At once," Rowan said, "What about the prisoners?" 

"We release them first," she said.

William had already taken the liberty of that it would appear "The food is still good, the water was poisoned." William informed her 

"This is not good at all," she said, "You may need your men to find freshwater." 

"I know where to go, I will inform Salain of what has transpired here." a man said

"You have my thanks to friend, may your horse carry you swiftly, and keep your eyes open," she said.

All was going according to plan, soon he would have Alma's heir in his possession, the perfect queen for their new world order. His plans would soon bare fruit, for his best student, was now his greatest weapon, he would use Altair to produce an heir for him before killing him. He would be king of the new world order, and Alma's heir would be his queen. All he had to do was use the apple-like he had done with the assassins left in the castle as well as those in the village.

Athena and Rowan made it to the docks "Sibrand!" Rowan called out, gaining the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knight's attention 

"Ah, Rowan Of Cameron what are you doing here with an assassin?" The Grand Master asked

"This is Alma's heir, the one she said would come, we discovered the truth about Alma and her unborn child's death," Rowan said.

Athena lowered her hood and the Knights around her knelt "You have her beauty my Lady, but you have Rowan's eyes." Sibrand said

"I am his descendent, as well as the descendent of the brother hidden," she replied

"Yes, well I sent word to Robert at Arsuf that Al Mualim had Alma murdered," Sibrand said.

Athena and Rowan looked at each other "Al Mualim is the head of the Assassin order," Rowan said

"He is also a Templar Grand Master, as well a Grand Master of a mythical beast cult," Sibrand said

"Not a Grand Master a head," Athena said, "Cory was right HYDRA is using Altair, to fuel this war." 

"Wait its not a Cult?" Sibrand asked

"No, far from it." Athena explained, "Many years from now HYDRA will emerge from the shadows and make themselves public much like the Templars." 

"Good for them," Sibrand said

"No, it's not, with HYDRA's rise to power came the purge of the Assassins and Templars. If HYDRA were to ever arise again the Assassins and Templars due to the events in our era will effect hers greatly." Rowan said.

Sibrand paled "I know the truth, they will find and kill me." 

SLAP

"Snap the hell out of it Sibrand, William is going to need help keeping HYDRA from running off. Use the ships in the harbor to block their escape, if we can stop them here we can hopefully end the purge of Assassins and Templars alike in her time." Rowan said.

Sibrand collected himself "You are right my friend," Sibrand said before turning to her "What are your orders, my lady?"

"Have your men board all ships with their captain and bottleneck that coastline," she said

"Of course at once!" Sibrand said

"As for us, we need to get to  Arsuf," she said.

Athena had no idea Altair was in the area hunting for Sibrand, nor did she know his next target was Robert de Sable...
