Walk

It's been two weeks since the first time I watched Brix's practice. At sa two weeks na yan, I can't believe na wala akong absent. Just like now, heto na naman ako nanunuod. Langyang buhay talaga.

Nilingon ko si Uniece sa gilid ko at hindi na ito hyper ngayon like the usual. Well, she said to me that Eric doesn't excites her anymore.

Napatingin ako kay Eric na ngayon ay naglalaro sa court. "Mag jowa na ba kayo?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Nope. You know I don't put label immediately. Nakakasakal kasi kapag pinagbabawalan ka na nila."

Tumango ako, "so what's your plan?"

I am a bit curious of what would be her decision. Kapag ayaw na niya kay Eric, ibig sabihin lang nun ay hindi na siya sasama sa akin manuod ng practice. Mahihirapan na akong tabonan ang tunay kong sadya kung bakit nandito ako palagi.

"Pakikisamahan ko nalang muna, so I can go with you." She chuckled. "Baka ma-chismis ka pang naghahabol kay Brix." Tumawa ulit ito.

I smiled secretly. It warmed my heart. Uniece is really thoughtful.

"Thank you." I said genuinely.

Napatingin din ito sa akin. She chuckled again. "Duh, after this lampasuin natin mukha ng pinsan mo!"

Umusog ito kaunti sa akin. "But did you really think na tutupad si Hannah sa deal ninyo? What if she'll still spread those videos?"

I sighed naisip ko na rin yan. "Doing this deal is the least I can do as of now." I said at muli na namang tumingin sa gitna ng court. "And besides, it would not harm me din naman."

"What if mahulog ka rin? Or mas malala baka ikaw lang ang mahulog." Aniya.

Natawa ako. That's impossible. But okay let's be open with that possibility. Kung ma-fall edi move on! People think that they can't unloved someone simply because they are not trying enough to move on.

"Kung ma-fall, edi ouch." I chuckled.

"Gaga!" She looked at me, natatawa rin. "Sabagay, you can just leave and move on."

I smiled. I really like Uniece. A person with same vibe is everywhere, but a friend with same understanding in life is hard to find.

"But I'm just wondering why a lot of people can't get over with someone." Aniya.

"Baka dahil naka depende sa Zodiac Sign nila... Pisces siguro kaya emotional." I said and we both laughed hardly.

Psych student ako but ewan ko ba,  I'm a big fan of astrology, I'm fascinated with it. I just hate whenever people used their Zodiacs just to justify their shitty attitude. Like sis, you're just mannerless... Kulang ka lang ata sa bakuna.

The game is already done. Hindi na namin namalayan ni Uniece dahil todo chika kami. I didn't even noticed na katabi ko na pala si Brix. He is sitting next to me.

"Did you bring water?" Ani Brix habang nagpupunas ng pawis.

I rolled my eyes. Kahit alam niya naman talagang every practice ko siya dinadalhan.

Kinuha ko ang mineral water sa bag at padabog na nilapag sa gitna namin.

"I think you really don't have a crush on me."

"At bakit?" Taas kilay kong tanong.

"Kasi and harsh mong maglapag ng plastic bottle." Aniya at ngumuso. I even saw I ghost smile on his lips.
