Chapter 5 - Meet and Greet/ Concert:
We made our way out of the hotel quickly, walking down all the narrow cobbled streets, there wasn't that much of a queue in my opinion. Not compared to the Asking Alexandria concert, which was roughly two streets long.
Blaring out A Day To Remember on our phones, me and Morgan joined the end of the queue, which moved pretty quickly.
Until, we were all directed to the box office, which was a cornered off section around the front of the building, with another blue door allowing us access in.
This area was for the people with Meet and Greet tickets, did I forget to mention My Mum bought myself and Morgan those tickets?
Anyway, this meant we got to meet the band and hopefully actually have a few conversations!
As we looked over, some girls came storming over, the leading girl had fiery red hair.
'The queuing system is crap,' she stated, venom in her tone.
I heard other girls murmur in agreement.
'What happened?' I asked, intrigued, deciding to make conversation, as I knew Morgan wasn't going to.
'We were all waiting around the back for half an hour, before someone finally came and brought us here and now generals are going in first!' Her voice was rising steadily.
I looked over at the other girls behind her and said, 'Yeah, there are no signs. So where the hell are you supposed to know where to go?
'Yeah,'
I smiled slightly as we continued making conversation. Then eventually, after a while, our tickets were checked and we got ushered in.
We headed upstairs, where we got directed. But only me and Morgan were allowed in, as we were the only ones with tickets. Grabbing our pens and t-shirts, we headed into a room along with the others.
There were all sorts of people there, young and old, male and female.
'Can everyone listen up please!' A woman shouted, obviously someone that worked here.
Everyone went silent and all attention was fixed on the woman.
'In a few minutes, the band will be coming out and sitting here,' she gestured to the long table and seats next to her.
'You'll grab a laminate and a poster, which the band will sign. Then you'll queue up again afterwards and get a photo. Okay?' She added
There were murmurs of 'yes,' and also a few nods.
We all watched as the band came down the steps and gave us all a wave.
There was the band standing there. Neil Westfall, Joshua Woodard, Alex Shelnutt, Kevin Skaff and finally, my idol, Jeremy McKinnon.
We all got into a queue, I was at the back with Morgan. Chatting happily, well, more like fangirling, with the girls behind us. While Morgan stayed quiet, looking at the band with wide eyes.
'I want to get Jeremy to sign my phone,' she grinned.
I just laughed, 'that'll be cool,'
We shared a smile.
Eventually, the line moved on quicker and it was my turn. My heart was racing, I was absolutely terrified. What if I messed up? What if I said something wrong?
Hanging my VIP pass round my neck and gripping the poster and t-shirt tightly as Morgan pushed me forward.
'Hey,' Josh greeted calmly.
