Chapter 9 - Memories:

I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw Jeremy McKinnon staring straight in my direction.

Jeremy grinned at me, so I had no choice but to smile back.

Amy pulled me over to the side, where necklaces and bracelets hung on the walls, coincidentally 'BFF' bracelets and necklaces that matched. Even I had to admit, some of them were pretty epic with the way they also changed color according to moods.

'Who's that?' Amy lowered her voice, sneaking glances in Jeremy's direction.

'He's... um..' I trailed off.

What exactly could I say? Oh he's the lead singer of ADTR, one of my favourite bands...

Yeah, that wouldn't go down well. Not at all.

'He's what?' Amy asked impulsively, her blue eyes completely focused on mine.

'An old friend,' I replied.

'Well he's coming over here!' She squealed, 'why didn't you tell me you had such an attractive friend?' I groaned inwardly, feeling my cheeks become hotter by the second.

My eyes met his as he was standing right in front of me, looking just as good as when I saw him live with Morgan all those years ago.

'Hey,' he started, in a calm voice.

'Hiya...' I replied awkwardly.

'You look really familiar,' he murmured.

'I went to one of your concerts three years ago...' I trailed off.

'I signed a t-shirt, right?' He asked, memories seemingly coming back.

'Yeah! I was with a friend,'

Amy just looked at us both, then raised an eyebrow at me. She didn't look happy.

He just grinned and chuckled, 'yeah, I remember, you looked really awkward when me and the guys took a picture with you,' The soft smile remained on his face.

'But that's only because they were wolf whistling at us!' I protested, laughing with him.

'True,' he replied.

'I need to go, we should hang out sometime,' he suggested.

'Sure, I'd like that,' I bit my lip nervously as he reached for my phone, groaning, I gave it to him as he tapped his number in.

'Text me later,' Was all he said, giving me a slight smirk before walking off.

Oh. My. God.

Not only did I just meet Jeremy, but he remembered me?

I turned to Amy as she looked at me, 'You have a lot of explaining to do.'
