Chapter 20: Lies

I headed back to my home, slamming the door shut behind me. I was going to meet Kier tomorrow, maybe we'd actually get on.
I collapsed onto my bed, forgetting to move all of our band's music samples that I could give to people. I groaned, moving them onto the shelf out of the way.
Amy and I had talked afterwards, apparently she had notifed Kier that the possible fake relationship would be just that and he was okay with it, as he was also in the same situation as I was.

Getting my notebook out, I decided to continue writing my own song lyrics I had been working on, in preparation for another band rehearsal later.
I heard my phone ring for the fifth time in less than an hour.
It was Jeremy again, perhaps I should pick up the phone....

Fuck that.
He kissed me, left and got back with his ex-girlfriend. It seemed like he'd strung me along and dropped me, like any famous person seemed to do.

Jeremy POV:

I'd tried to get hold of Hannah a multiple number of times, but she wasn't picking up her phone.
Hopefully she was just busy. In reality, she was probably still pissed at me for getting back with Tiffany, but it was only because I was told she was cheating on me and had found someone else to be with

She wasn't picking up so maybe it was true, maybe everything I thought we had was a lie.

-A few hours later-

Hannah POV:

I headed into town and stood outside the restaurant where I was told I'd be meeting Kier.
I jumped out of my skin as I felt someone put their hands on my shoulders.
The person had scarlet red hair, his eyes looked apologetic, "I'm so sorry!" He stammered, getting embarrassed.
"Kier?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
He nodded.
I laughed, 'Sorry for snapping at you," I apologised.
"It's cool," He shrugged.

After a while, we'd spent a lot of time shopping and decided it was time to call it a day, as we were both struggling with our six bags each. As we sat next to each other on the train back, he leaned over and murmured in my ear, "I'm in a band too,"
I raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
"Yeah, we only just started out so," He smiled slightly at my interest.
"Got a name?" I inquired
"Fearless Vampire Killers," He replied simply, going slightly shy at the end
"Awesome!" I grinned

I got off the bus and waved to Kier before heading home with my earphones in, listening to some music.

Maybe me and Kier could get on quite well after all.
