Chapter 6 - Home:

I woke up earlier than everyone else. It was around 6 in the morning, I guessed. I had what people would call a, 'Concert Hangover,' which consisted of a pounding headache, slight feeling of deafness and a need to go back.

Looking over at Morgan, she was still fast asleep, her black hair sprayed out like a fan over the pillow.

I smiled as she started to stir.

'Hey,' I greeted, looking up from my phone.

'Hey,' I replied, lying on my side, facing her.

That's when my Mum walked over, 'Morning girls,' she said quietly.

'Mmm... ughhhh,' was the muffled reply from both of us as we stretched and sat up.

'We need to get up for breakfast,' Georgina added.

'Okay...' I sighed, giving in at the mention of food.  I was starving.

We were dressed by around 7am, wearing what we wore previously on the journey here.

For me, it was a long sleeved black t-shirt and dark blue jeans, with my scuffed up ankle boots that I would normally wear to school.

We headed downstairs into the dining room, it was quite casual but still nice.  There weren't many people down here yet, but this was probably because it was 7am after all, people were probably still sleeping.

We all decided to get a continental breakfast.   It was kind of like a buffet.  Eggs, Sausage, Bacon,  Hash Brown, Mushrooms.

~

After we'd eaten, we went back to the hotel room, packing all of our things together,  I put my VIP pass from last night around my neck, along with my wristband.

I grabbed my rucksack, slipping my hands into the arms and pull my suitcase behind me as we made our way to the taxi rink for the second time, getting the car as we had done before.

'Need me to put anything in the boot?' The woman asked.

'If you could, that'd be great,' Louise and Georgina said together.

The woman put all of our bags we didn't need into the boot and then closed it, putting our suitcases in as well.

I held onto my rucksack as I did before.

After a while,  we arrived at the train station, it took about 5 minutes roughly,  so it wasn't long.

As we headed in, we all found a bench and sat on it.

'Do you guys wanna go get anything from the shop?' Louise asked, gesturing to WH Smith and boots opposite us.

'Sure!' I squealed, as me and Morgan practically ran into the shop.

I skipped over to the shelves and took a pack of spearmint and peppermint soft mints.  As well as a cherry coke from one of the coolers.

Morgan got a jellybean factory tub, filled with every available flavour of jellybeans and she got a water.

We headed out together and sat with the others, Mum and Georgina.

Morgan passed a weird brown-looking jelly bean to me. Coke ready, I chewed it suspiciously.  I spat it out into the bin and took a swig of coke.

'What was that?' Morgan asked.

'Coffee,' I replied, coughing.

'Aw, I feel bad for you,' She chuckled.

I rolled my eyes, 'really?' I hit her in the arm and laughed.

'That hurt!' She whined, hitting me in the arm back.

Our parents just observed and chuckled, 'We need to head off to look round a few shops before we got on the train,'

'Okay,' we said in agreement.

We happily headed off to the Funky Pigeon shop and the body shop to have a look round.  Perfume and intoxicating smells filled The Body Shop, personally,  I enjoyed the smell of White Musk.

Before we left to wait for the train, Morgan and I ran into WH Smith to get a kerrang magazine.

That was something we always had to do if we were out, anyway.

~

Sitting on the train, me and Morgan began to read our Kerrang magazines, aside from the occasional chatting, it was deathly quiet the rest of the way back.

Looking around, people were either on calls, or tapping away at their laptops,  I think these people were mostly working, as they wore ties and business suits.  Most of the woman wore blouses and skirts, some wore trousers.

I had my iPod on and was listening to Bastille, staring out the window aimlessly, watching as the crystal droplets of rain fell against the plain looking windows.
I didn't want to talk to anyone as I was in a really snappy, mood, that normally happened when I was tired.

~

We were home eventually.  Getting into my Dad's car, we dropped Morgan off.  I waved at her and gave her a massive hug before saying goodbye.
When I got home, the first thing I did was send millions of texts to Morgan.
I flopped on my bed, enjoying it's warmth.
Even though I was happy to be back in my bedroom, I didn't want to be home.

I wanted to be at another ADTR concert.
