Most of you know this by now but Sammie Ware (Jane in s6) responded to Lea Michele's BLM/George Floyd tweet calling her out for being rude on set and saying things like "I will shit in your wig"

Alex Newell and Yvette Nicole Brown responded in support/understanding of it

Amber Riley responded with gifs (later she directly addressed it saying she didn't "give a shit about this lea michele thing" and didn't read the apology - she said lea reached out to her, and she responded and that's that. Amber also said they haven't talked in two years)

Melissa Benoist liked the tweets Alex and Sammie tweeted about Lea

Heather Morris liked a bunch of tweets where people said "Naya was right" and went on to indirectly address the situation and said Lea is very difficult to work with, but Heather can't comment on/doesn't know if she's racist or not

Lea posted an "apology" on her instagram saying she "didn't remember" the specific incident but if she said it / if her actions were perceived in a hurtful way she's sorry

which isn't an apology🤷🏼‍♀️

Sammie Ware responded with something along the lines of perceived?? open your purse and donate

anyway while all of that was happening, someone made a thread on Twitter of problematic cast members and spread false info on Kevin, Chord, Chris (& Darren tbh)

the person said they didn't mean to include Kevin and they didn't have evidence on Chris, but they said Chord was racist

Kevin jumped in real fast and shut that part of it down but also said don't put words in his mouth - meaning just because he only said chord didn't mean he's denying or confirming the rest of the thread

also the things being said about Darren includes things taken out of context/heard in passing and things he already apologized and moved on from. it's literally a tumblr link with links that don't work and sources that aren't updated/reliable...

I'm not excusing his comments, but I am acknowledging that he has done better

(people just like to drag Darren down with Lea - I saw some girl on Facebook say "I mean..." and posted a pic of the Twitter thread in response to everyone talking about Lea, but one has nothing to do with the other)

More and more people have been sharing stories on Twitter of Lea being rude/racist/transphobic throughout the years

Lea called extras on glee "cockroaches" and yelled at people that they couldn't sit at the table (meanwhile those same people said Darren welcomed them onto set, inviting them to sit at lunch and made sure they were comfortable)

*again, I'm not saying Darren is perfect. he is flawed, but he at least owns up to things in the past and grows from it*

Lea hasn't grown - she's only speaking out now because she was finally called out

someone asked Josh Sussman about Lea and he said "I'd rather talk about people I have good things to say about" and when asked about Darren he said "we didn't really have scenes together but he was one of the nicest"

the only person who came to Lea's defense was Dean Geyer, who said she was the most welcoming — I don't recall Dean working as closely with the others though

In addition to all of this happening, Ann said that Monchele wasn't real

*update: Ann said her words were misinterpreted. she said Cory told her the truth of the relationship with Lea, which was that it wasn't what people (including his friends and castmates) thought and he knew it wouldn't last forever

I'll add to this as more things are said / stories are told - I may even put specifics (like what Sammie said, etc, but for now I just wanted to give a run down in case anyone is confused by what's been happening)
