Game Changer

Chapter 14

"Oh my gosh y'all just don't know how proud I am to be home" Alonzo mother told everybody in the room. 

We all clapped and rejoiced at her getting her life together. Lonzo would not let her out his sight throughout the day. I was happy because he could now let that hurt go. Rilo walked into Lonzo house and approach Lonzo apologizing. Everybody eyes were directed on them both. They exchange a dap and hug and went there own ways. I caught Rilo heading to the poker room and I went to tell him about himself the other night. He played it off like it was nothing but I heard him quite well telling Troy he had feelings for me. I never saw Rilo in that light so I had to let him know that the feeling wasn't mutual. I pulled him into the poker room before the other males followed. 

"Rilo look I wanted to tell you that the other night what I did was inappropriate. I didn't mean to drag you along and I never seen you more than the past."

Rilo walked out slamming the door on me. I jumped at his anger and proceeded downstairs to Lonzo. I began serving plates when I saw Lonzo mother disappear into the backyard. I followed her to see Rilo giving her a pounch of coke in her hand. She didn't take it and he left her standing alone. I walked outside to console her claiming she was use to refusing now. They didn't have the power over her anymore letting it piss them off made her see how she could've always been. Walking back in Lonzo was sneaking Ava a piece of cake. She laughed and giggled in his arms. He put her down and Ava went back to her mother. Lonzo pulled me in a close embrace as we made out when Troy emerged through through the swing door. He started singing the kiddie remedy two little birdies. Dom buster through the door and made Troy get down on his hands and knees. I held onto Lonzo gun he carried on his back waistline to ensure he didn't do nothing crazy. After recently getting intel that Dom was really a cop. We followed them out with everyone cursing and screaming and I grabbed Kelly with snot coming out her nose and tears streaming from her eyes. While Alonzo grabbed Ava because she tried to hang onto her daddy's leg. We got out to the car and Dom walked over to me asking if my brother had an alibi for killing  Lonzo mother's boyfriend. 

"What you mean an alibi my brother ain't do shit. You just mad I dumped your ass for Alonzo."

"Alonzo hu I promise you that you can think he your man. Baby when he break your heart I'll still be available to satisfy you whenever and however you want."

The cops had told her and she just sat sulking on the porch steps. They all drove off and the last car present was Dom. He came over to me once more and asked if I wanted a ride to the station. I denied and told him Kelly would handle everything and I'd be his lawyer if he needed one. Dom got into his car and drove off when Lonzo was still holding Ava in the house when I returned. Ava came over to me making me cry as well. Lonzo went to sit with his mom and she was smiling with joy. I know that feelings when you let it go after being beaten down for so long. After a hour or so Ava was sleep and Alonzo mother wanted to be alone at her place to pack up her boyfriend stuff so she took his car. I washed up and got in the bed and felt him tighten his grip on my waist as I turned over. He got out the bed to get dress I asked him where he was going and he told me to watch Ava because he had business to handle I saw him go for his gun.

"Lonzo baby you know who did this to Troy don't you?"

"Yeah Nicole it's Rilo. Ever since you been fucking around on me with him. Know what I'm not mad at nobody but Rilo. That nigga gone get his and he gone suffer he yelled punching his fist."

"Listen to me baby I'm the piece to Rilo he'll come for me. So let's do this together and focus on getting Troy out first before we make that move."
