"Stark, we got him," Captain Tight hat said. "Banner?" Stark asked. "Just like you said," Captain Tight hat said. "Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you," Stark said. Far in the distance, the leviathan shattered part of a building while chasing Iron Man.
"Ah," Thor said, flipping his square hammer. "I don't see how that's a party," Red hair said.
"Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time to get angry," Captain Tight hat said. "That's my secret, captain. I'm always angry," Banner started growing in size and turning green, his shirt ripping to shreds. He slammed a fist into the head of the leviathan, causing it to flip towards us."Hold on," Stark said, blasting it with a mini-rocket. We all ducked behind various objects, and I pulled out my suit. I darted into an alley, changed into it, and ran back out, my mask covering my face. "I see you got my package," Red hair said. "Yeah. Let's hope it's useful," I said, putting in a new magazine.
The Hulk let out a roar, as Stark landed beside him, still in his suit. Bowman readied an arrow, I loaded my rifle, Red hair reloaded her gun, and Thor readied his hammer. More of the leviathans came pouring out of the portal. "Guys," I warned, and they turned to see the incoming army. "Call it, Cap," Stark said.
"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything that gets more than there blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash," Cap said. "Give me a lift?" Barton asked Stark. "Right. Better clench up, Legolas," Stark said, grabbing Barton and flying off. "Thor, you gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up," Cap said, and Thor started swinging his hammer around, taking off. "Us three, we stay here on the ground and keep the fighting here. And Hulk," Cap said, and the giant green monster turned with a scowl on his face.
"Smash," Cap said, and the Hulk grinned, before leaping off. Cap took off somewhere, leaving Red hair and me to take on the aliens. Eventually, Cap returned as Red hair fought one of the aliens, taking its weapon. She and Cap discussed something which I zoned out, focusing on the alien in front of me. It let out a screech, swinging at me.
"Thanks for the encouragement buddy," I said, dodging it. I slammed my fist into its jaw, sending its head backward. Swiftly, I pulled out my pistol and nailed it in the chest. Red hair backed up, ran, jumped on a car, and latched onto the bottom of one of the ships with Cap's help. A swarm of aliens was approaching Cap and me.
As we were fending off the aliens, Iron Man swooped in, killing some of the aliens. "Who are you?" He asked. "I'm Ellie," I responded, shooting another alien. "Nice to meet you," He said. "It's my pleasure. Duck," Stark did as I said, and I shot one of the aliens in the brain.
Then he took off, leaving us alone. "Nice chat," I muttered. "Hey, a kid with a gun, take this," Cap said, tossing my something. It was a com, so I pulled up my mask, and stuck it into my ear. "Cap, 42nd past Madison. They cornered a lot of civilians in there," Barton said in the earpiece.
"Got it," Cap said, taking off. "Great, leaving me here with a swarm of aliens. Just how I wanted to spend my Friday," I muttered. "Hey, new kid, we've got a school packed full of people on 35th street," Barton said into the com. "Alright, I'm on it," I said, taking off. I ducked and swerved through the crowds, arriving at the school shortly.
I shot the aliens in the front of the building, going in. A few heads poked out of the classrooms. "Alright, listen up! I'm gonna get you out of here, and when I do, you run like hell," I ordered, my voice ringing through the halls. "Why should we listen to you?" One of them asked. I heard the door bang open, and I whipped around, shooting 2 of the 3 aliens.
The third alien managed to dodge my bullet, and I didn't have time to put in another magazine. I tossed the gun to the side and ran up to the alien. I grabbed its arm, twisting it until it broke off. Then I swung it into the alien, sending it flying into one of the lockers. People started coming out of the classrooms, and I glanced out of the window.
About another 30 aliens were approaching the building. "Aw, great. Reinforcements," I muttered, putting a finger to my ear. "Hey, I could use a little help here," I said, reloading my gun after getting it. "We're all a little busy," Barton replied. I turned to the people behind me, who were still coming out of the classrooms.
"Who here can fight?"
a/n Ellie's sarcasm is great.
