"I'm so sorry about the other day. I'm trying. We'll get through this." Stiles struggled to remember the rest of what Allison had told him to tell Scott and he stumbled through his words. Carrie stood on the steps behind them with her arms crossed looking down at the two with a small smile on her face.
"I know because I love you." Scott smiled bashfully at Stiles' words. "I love you more than- Oh my God, you and Allison seriously have to find a better way to communicate." Stiles groaned out. Carrie took that as her cue to jump in.
"Come on! Is she coming to the game tonight?"
"Yes, now tell me about your boss-"
"Aww, testicle left and right. I knew you'd look so cute together." She pushed them apart and sat next to the boys who wanted nothing to do with her. Carrie turned to Scott blocking out an offended Stilisnki entirely. "I need a favor."
"What? No!" Stiles shouted from behind Carrie, he had not forgotten the fact that she and the she-wolf broke his baby. Scott rolled his dark brown eyes at the girl.
"Why?" Scott groaned out rubbing his face with his hand.
"Derek has no fucking clue what I am and he thought your boss might be able to help." Carrie put simply and slung her bag tighter over her shoulder. "In exchange, I'll do your chemistry homework for a week." Carrie bartered quietly looking around hoping no teachers were looking, specifically Mr. Harris
Scott looked behind Carrie to see Stiles shaking his head fervently. The wolf nodded and held out his hand to shake Carrie's. She smirked and clasped his hand with hers. "We were just talking about something that might have to deal with this." Stiles widened his eyes and shook his head even harder.
"Okay, lay it on me."
"Deaton, my boss," Scott added looking to Carrie who nodded, "thinks that Allison's family has some kind of record of all the things they've hunted. Like a book." Carrie nodded and shot up not wanting to get in any mess with the Argents.
"Text me when you got it." She dismissed and leaped up to go anywhere but there.
Argents were bad news as far as Derek was concerned and where Derek was concerned Carrie had to be concerned. Carrie turned down the hall to get to biology when a scowling Toni looked over at her. Carrie's eyes widened and she smacked her forehead, the sound echoed throughout the hallways causing several students to look in her directions and furious Toni to stomp over.
"Where were you last night?" Toni asked Carrie, grabbing her arm as if to stop her from running away from the heinous crime she had committed last night. It was movie night and instead of being there, she was practicing her weird powers with Derek who for some unknown reason didn't want her coming to the station today. "I called, texted, you never answered."
