Three days of their visit, I was curious to know what was going to happen, even though I hadn't seen the girl even once, nothing was decided yet. But I started preparing myself to get back to the office after a week off. While I was pressing my clothes, my mom called.
"Ayaan are you free today?"-Mom
"No mom, I'm going to office today, my holidays are over" -Ayaan
"No, I meant at evening around 5"
"Yeah, I guess, why?" -Ayaan
"Riya came back yesterday from Mumbai and you both haven't met each other yet. So, me and Riya's mom made a small plan for you both."
"What?" -Ayaan
"Can you meet her for lunch?"
"Ok fine, but I haven't seen her even once. How will I identify her?" -Ayaan
"I'll give you her number, you can call her and tell a spot to wait on"
"Ok, I'll go" -Ayaan
"Send her the location of the restaurant you are going to, she will reach there" -Mom
"Ok fine" -Ayaan
"And try reaching before her, you should look like a gentleman, don't make her wait" -Mom
"Yeah, I got that" -Ayaan
"And try selecting a nice place for your lunch, it shouldn't be a crowded place" -Mom
"Ok, thanks for the advice" -Ayaan
"What are you gonna wear? Whatever you wear, you should look decent. That will be your first impression on her" -Mom
"It's really hard for me to process all these instructions in my mind at once!!" -Ayaan
"Ok fine, I'll stop, All the best" -Mom
"Yeah finally, thank you" -Ayaan
So, after finishing my work at the office I texted Riya, she replied after 2 or 3 minutes.

Hello, Riya here
Are you free?
Yeah, my mom told to have lunch with you
That'll be helpful for us to get to know each other
Yeah, so, do you know any good place?
Nope, you decide and send me the location, I'll reach there on time. Gtg, bye"
Well, that was a quick chat, couldn't see her picture on her DP though. She seemed to be in a hurry. Anyways, there was a Dhaba like restaurant on the Millers highway. So, I sent her the location and left for the restaurant. I reached 30 minutes before 5 PM. I went inside the restaurant and booked a table. The waiter directed me to the table and I ordered a lemonade so that I don't sit idle looking at other people's food. I opened the chat and she had seen the location sent by me, till then I was watching a movie while drinking my lemonade. It was already 5.45 PM and she hadn't still reached to the restaurant. I tried calling her but she didn't receive it. I thought she might be stuck in traffic, so I decided to wait for some more time. Then at 6.15 PM, I received a message from her telling me that she won't be able to reach the restaurant because she got stuck in some work.
I got furious when I saw her text as I was waiting for her from a long time without ordering anything, so to maintain the dignity I ordered a dessert. After 10 or 15 min I left the restaurant.
