Akyla gets thrown in the pit. Akyla looks out the holes and looks around. Everything is pretty and green. While Akyla was looking she jumps when someone accidentally scares her. She looks up and sees a dark skin boy with some brown eyes. He smiles at Akyla. "I'll let you out but no more running, Okay?" Akyla nodded. He untied the knot then opens the door for Akyla. "My names Alby! Can you tell me anything about yourself? Who you are, where you came from, anything at all."Akyla looks down and groans. "Can you at least tell me your name?" I-I-I-I can't remember anything. Why can't I remember anything? "It's okay hey relax relax its normal. It happens to us all. You'll get your name back in a day or two. It's the one thing they let us keep." Akyla looks confused. What is this place? "Let me show you!" Alby reaches his hand out to Akyla. Akyla looks at Alby's hand than grabs it. Alby helps Akyla out of the pit. "We eat here, we sleep here, we grow our own food, and build our own shelter. Whatever we need the box provides. The rest is up to us." The box? "Yeah." Alby points to the box that brought Akyla up. Wait who put us here? "We don't know." There was a silence than Akyla heard someone shout from the side. "Hey Alby" Alby smiles at the girl. The girl was light skin she had long curly puffy hair. She smiles at me. "Rayna meet greenie, greenie meet Rayna. Rayna's in charge when I'm  gone." "Good thing your never gone" Rayna says. Rayna faced Akyla. "For a second I thought you had a chance to be a runner until you face pumped it." Rayna and Alby starts to laugh. Wa-wa-wait a runner? Rayna smiles than walked off. Alby motioned for Akyla to follow her. Alby started to climb up a ladder. "You not afraid of heights are you?""Let's go, c'mon". Akyla and Alby stood on top of "The Tower" They could see everything from up there. "This is all we have! We work hard here!" Akyla looked at the maze. What's out there? Alby looked out towards the maze. They was silence for a good 6 seconds. "We only have three rules, 1st do your part we don't have time for any slackers 2nd Never hurt another glader we have to have trust in each other and most importantly never ever go beyond those walls. "Do you understand me greenie." They stared at each other until a voice cried out. "Alby!" Alby looked down "Heyyy Chuck." Akyla and Alby walked down the stairs and walked to where Chuck was. Chuck was a short chubby white boy that looked like he was at least 12 years old. He looked the youngest, everyone here looked between 15 and 19. Chuck had a soft smile planted in his face. Alby told Chuck to take Akyla to show her where she would be sleeping at. "Your story is very similar to everyone else's. You wake up in the box and Alby gives us the tour, now this is where we are. Don't worry your doing better than I did. I pissed my pa- ."  Chuck stops she looks around for Akyla. She spots Akyla walking towards the maze. Chuck starts running towards Akyla. "Hey! What are you doing." Relax Relax I'm just looking. "Yeah you better not let one foot enter." Why does it matter? What's inside? "I don't know. But I do know that we're not suppose to leave." They both stood looking at the maze until two boys and two girl came jogging out of the maze. They began to jog Akyla and Chucks way. One of them passes and speaks to Chuck. "Hey Chuck! New greeney here I see. How does it feel to be promoted." One of the girl was Rayna, the girl that Alby introduced me to. The other girl was the dark skin girl that took me out the box yesterday. One of the boys was Asian with beautiful silk black hair and the other one was a white boy who had pretty brown eyes and dark brown hair. The white boy with the pretty brown eyes started at me then smiled. I gave back a small smile trying not to blush. "I feel real honored" Chuck said back to Rayna. Who are they?  "Well that's Malaya he said pointing to the dark skin one. That's Mihno he said pointing to the Asian. And lastly that's Thomas he had said pointing to the one that smiled at me. I smiled thinking of the thought of him but then snap back into reality and realizing that no one was allowed to leave the maze. Chuck looks over at Akyla and can see all the confusion on her face. I thought no one was allowed to leave. "Yeah no one only the runners." Runners? "Yeah they know more about the maze than anyone." Akyla began to walk in front of the maze. "Wait w-what are you doing." Chill Chuck I'm not going to run. Akyla started walking forwards.

Akyla POV

"Hey" someone called out than they pushed me down. Akyla looked up and seen a whit boy with dirty blonde hair and weird eyebrows. Akyla kicks him in the leg than stands to her feet. "Hey hey hey chill chill ight?" Everyone begins to run over. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS I shout out. WHY WONT YOU TELL ME WHATS OUT THERE! "It's for protection" Alby says. Then Malaya runs over and grabs the dude with the weird eyebrows arm.  The she had tried to clam Akyla down. "Calm down"  NO YOU GUYS CANT JUST KEEP ME IN HERE! "Well we can't let you leave" Alby says. WHY NOT! Than everyone stopped and turned towards the maze. There was growling and movement coming from the maze.
*Heavy Breathing*
Huh huh wh-what the hell. Than the maze began to close. "Next time I'm going to let you run in" The guy with the weird eyebrows had said. "Welcome to The Glade" Alby said while patting my back before walking off.
