The Test

~10~ The Kiss

Akyla POV

I woke up to find my self cuddled up with Thomas. I smiled of the thought of what happened last night and laid my head back on his chest. After a couple of minutes of daydreaming I finally sat up. Thomas wake up I said a little over a whisper. He opened his eyes then closed them again while smiling. I started to laugh.  "Bae lay back down" he said trying to pull me back down. Bae? So it's official? I said while I was cheesing so hard.  "Why wouldn't we be!"  he said finally sitting up.

Malaya POV

I woke up and ran to my bathroom throwing up. I held my hair back while I sat by the toilet for a couple more minutes just in case if it would come back up again. I brushed my teeth and realized that we was low on toothpaste. So I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote toothpaste on it then I thought for a minute and wrote pregnancy test on it. As I got done brushing my teeth I grabbed the paper and walked out of the bathroom. Once I closed the bathroom door behind me I looked over and seen Gally still sleeping. I kissed him on the forehead then walked out of our room. I started to walk to the box so they could bring back up the things I asked for but I bumped into someone. As I fell to the ground so did the list. I tried to hurry up and grab it but before I could a different hand made it there first. I looked up and to my luck it was Mihno. He looked at the list and I stood to my feet. I tried to grab the list but he moved it.  "Your pregnant?"  I don't know!  I said snatching the list out of his grip. As I started to walk away I watched as he followed along. I made it to the box then put the letter in face down. I sat down by the box because it only takes like 30 minutes to a day to come back up. As I watched the box go down I saw Mihno sit down next to me from the corner of my eye. "Listen Malaya you can talk to me. I'm your best friend!"  I looked at him then shrugged.  I don't know if I'm pregnant I just woke up throwing up and I know me and Gally have done it a couple of times, so..... I'm just getting the pregnancy test to see.  He opened his arms so I can hug him. I leaned in and we hugged then I felt hands around us. I looked up and seen Newt. I laughed to myself and realized how lucky I was to have friends like these two and Rayna for the past three and a half years. Newt pulled away then gave both of us a small then walked off. Me and Mihno pulled out of the hug then he started another conversation.  "Listen Malaya I'm really sorry about that kiss. I want you to know that I see you as a sister I promise you I don't like you I guess I've just been horny for too long and it's not fair how Newt and Gally got girlfriends and Thomas got here later then me but already got a girl."  I laughed at him then realized how he looked over once he seen the new greenie Kashonna walk past.  Ooohhh I said nudging his shoulder. He looked down and smile.  "Nah!"  I layed my head on his shoulder as I sat there thinking about the kiss. Soon the box came up and I was about to grab the black bag that had my name on it. I'm glad they make black bags so no one can see what you got. But as I was about to grab it other gladers ran up and grabbed their bags. I looked to my side and seen Newt dancing saying "I got the condoms!"  I laughed at him then pushed him away from me.  "Get your nasty ass away from me  I said as Rayna gave him the same emotions I did. I looked over to see Mihno with the bag in his hand. "Let me know"  he said as he handed me the bag. I nodded then turned around and walked off. Once I got to me and Gally's room I realized that he was in the shower. (Just act like they got showers now!😂) I sat on the bed and pulled out the pregnancy test  our then zipped the bag back up with the tooth paste still in the bag. I sat it on the bed then slipped the test into my pocket. I heard the shower cut off then like three minutes later a shirtless Gally walked out.   He kissed me on the forehead then started to comb his hair.  "What you thinking about?"  I decided that now was the time to spill the tea about what happens between me and Mihno since we finally cleared everything up. Mihno kissed me!!  I opened my eyes slowly as I seen Gally slowly sit the comb down.  "Best friends huh?"  Bae it's not even like that he apologized he doesn't even see me like that it was mistake.  "You don't just kiss someone on accident! We got interrupted by someone knocking on the door. The door slowly opened and Chuck head popped in.  "Umm... s-s-sorry to interrupt but I just wanted to make sure Malaya was okay."  I gave him a smile but got caught off guard by Gally shouting at Chuck. "Chuck get the fuck out and stay in a kids place!!"  I'm okay baby!  I said to Chuck trying to keep calm until he was out the room. He nodded as but I could see he was now scared of Gally. He closer the door then Gally opened his mouth to say something else but I cut him off.  No Gally just shut up, shut the fuck up. Cause don't ever yell at Chuck like that again. All he wanted to do was check up on me.  "You don't have the right to talk right now you cheater talking bout that's your best friend I bet you him, Rayna, and Newt be having foursomes don't y'all."  I scoffed in disbelief and started to pack my things. I walked to the bathroom and took the test. Luckily they gave me this advanced one that let me know how long I was pregnant. The test said positive and I had been pregnant for a month. I put the test back in my pocket and then walked back out the bathroom. I grabbed my bag but then Gally snatched it out of my hand. Once he grabbed the bag roughly it made a long cut under my eye and led onto my cheek. I shook it off then threw the test at him. I opened the door and before I had shut it I heard him yell out that the baby probably wasn't even his. I felt tears escape from my eyes and I rushed to the map room before anyone noticed me. I sat my bag down then walked out wiping the tears until I heard someone call my name.  "Laya?"  I immediately knew it was Newt because he was the only one who called me Laya. I looked up and just ran into his arms. He hugged me and then I heard another voice. "Is everything okay?"  I looked up and seen Mihno. They both tensed up once they seen the cut. "What happened?"  Me and Gally got into an argument and- "he put his hands on you?"  They both had said at the same time. Before I could answer Mihno ran and I already knew where he was heading. Newt grabbed me then shook his head in disbelief.  "You can sleep in my room with Rayna and I'll bunk with Mihno."  Newt he didn't put his hands on me you know Gally and you know that he has issues but he would never.  He nodded then was about to go chase after Mihno but then I stopped him.  I'm pregnant Newt!  He stopped and smiled I already know I'm The Godfather. We both ran off and once we got there Rayna was already in between them.

Mihno POV

Once I seen that cut on Malaya's face I rushed over here. As I was walking towards the room he was coming out. "Just the man I want to see!"  I cut him off by sending a punch flying across his face. He tried to throw a punch but I dodged it and tackled him to the ground. He flipped us over and punched me in my side. I groaned in pain then flipped us back over. As I was about to throw another punch I felt someone tackle me off of him. I looked and realized it was Thomas. Rayna and Akyla ran over and held Gally back. "What is going on!?"  Rayna said as she held a face of disappointment. "He kissed Malaya!" Gally said with anger in his voice. He put his hands on Malaya! I had shouted. Thomas let me go then walked up to Gally but got stopped once Akyla put her hand on Thomas's chest to stop him. "No he didn't!"  I looked over and seen that Malaya was the one who had shouted it out. I looked at her with squinted eyes as I held a confused face. "The-the bag has hit me!" She said as she was walking closer. She hugged me and I hugged back but still kept a glare glued onto Gally. We pulled away and Gally scoffed.  "She's sleeping in my room!"  Newt had said while looking at Gally.  "I bet she is!" Gally said while getting out of Rayna and Akyla's grip. Newt shook his head not believing what he just heard. He walked up to Rayna and pulled her into a hug making sure she didn't get hurt while me and Gally was fighting or whatever. I apologized to Malaya and Rayna and everyone else for the scare.

I threw Newt a pillow and blanket as he laid in the ground. I knew it was going to be hard for him to sleep without Rayna but I went straight to sleep.
