AS WE walk downstairs, still holding hands, everyone are all eyes on us and our hands. The boys are grinning and the girls are at shook.
"No way, Man. Akala ko aabutin ka pa ng isa pang taong bago mo maamin kay Shane" Joshua's comment.
"I can't believe my eyes. Finally, Dude! Hindi ka na torpe" Robin said and laugh so is his wife Lyka.
Kuya Justine just shook his head and look at us with a smile.
Napakamot ng ulo si Mark kaya naman pati ako ay natawa na. Naupo nalang kaming dalawa sa sofa katabi nila Lyka. Naghanda narin si Mommy ng makakain at maiinom namin kasama si Daddy. Habang kaming magkakaibigan ay nagkwe-kwentuhan.
"Syempre as my bestfriend. Ikaw ang brides made ko, Shane" si Lyka.
"That would be an honor, Lyka. Pambawi ko narin siguro to kasi hindi ako nakapunta sa first wedding niyo. Kuya said I made a promise to be there but I couldn't make it. I'm sorry" I sincerely said.
She just held my hand and smiled. "It's okay, Shane. We understand. Hindi naman kami nagtatampo sayo dahil hindi ka nakarating sa kasal namin. We know that you still needed more time to get well. All that is important right now, is that you're here with us. And we will finally have time to bond again. With the kids" Sambit ni Lyka.
I smiled. She knows how to make me feel better and not guilty at all. Now I can see that she really is my bestfriend. "Thanks, Lyka. And speaking of kids, pupunta kami bukas ni Mark sa inyo kasama si Serenity. I want to see your son aswell." I said.
"That's great. I'll be expecting you guys tomorrow then" sabi ni Lyka at kumindat samin ni Mark. We both know what that means and we just laugh.
Mom and Dad then came with some muffins, cake and juice. "Kumain na muna kayo. I'm sure you're all starving. Magugustuhan niyo ito" Si mommy at inilapag na ang mga inihanda nila sa isang clear-glass table na nasa harap namin.
"Thanks, Mom. You and Dad should go and have a rest now. We know that you are also exhausted from the flight" I said.
They just smiled and nod. Mom and Dad went upstairs to take a rest. We continued on planning the event. I am simply happy from the fact that I've got to bond with the people I've spent my life with. But why do I feel that there's still something missing. I just didn't bother thinking about that and just enjoy the time that I am with them. The time comes where we all parted from each other.
I went to my room with Mark to check on serenity. We saw her awake holding one of her toys playing. We approached her and she just simply smile and laugh and gave us a hug. "Mommy, Dada, Where have you been? After I woke up, you two were gone. Kaya nag play nalang po ako" She said then pout.
"Sorry, baby. Nakipag kwentuhan kami sa mga old friends namin ni dada e. By the way baby, pupunta tayo bukas kila tita Lyka para ma-meet mo rin yung anak nila. Pwede kayo mag play dun. Para may kalaro ka narin." I said.
"Really, mommy? Yehey! May kalaro na ako!" She said happily while jumping at the bed.
"Baby, Stop. Baka mahulog ka sa kama" sabi ni Mark at binuhat si Serenity.
"Why don't we go Shopping para may pang regalo tayo sabago mong playmate. Kain narin tayo sa labas I'm sure gutom narin ang princess namin" sabi ko.
"Okay Mommy" She said.
"Okay, Let's take a bath na muna para makauwi na muna si Dada at makapag bihis na siya" I said.
"Why can't Dada take a bath here? Hindi ba dito nakatira si Dada?" Tanong ni Serenity.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Mark. "Umm... Hindi pwede matulog dito si Dada. Hindi muna sa ngayon. Pero pupunta naman dito lagi si dada para makita kayo ng mommy mo" Mark explained.
"Okay po Dada. Mag wash na kami ni Mommy. You should go home now too para makabalik ka agad" Sabin i Serenity and she gave Mark a big hug.
"Okay, Baby" Sabi ni Mark at ibinaba na si Serenity.
"I should go now, para mabilis din ako makabalik agad dito." Pagpapaalam niya.
"Okay. Hintayin ka namin ni Serenity" I said and gave him a quick peck at the chick. "Mag-ingat ka sa pag-uwi" I said then smile.
He was a bit shook by what I did but then recover in a second and smiled at me.
"I'd be going now"
"Yeah okay"
"Yeah"
And by that, He left. Serenity then approaches me. "Mommy, up" she said.
I then carry her and we both took a bath together.
AFTER taking a bath and dressing Serenity, I took a dress out of my old closet and wore it. The dress looks simple but really pretty. It's a plane pitch dress with a gold belt. I then partner it with a white three inched hills. After dressing up. I fixed my hair and then my face by just a simple make-up.
"You look pwitty, Mommy" Serenity commented.
I smiled. "Thank you, Baby. It's time to fix your hair now. Baka malapit na dumating si Dada" sabi ko at lumapit naman siya sa akin. I just tie her hair like simple ponytail and it really looks cute on her.
Lumapit agad si Serenity sa salamin para tingnan ang sarili. "I look pwitty too. Just like my mommy" She said and look at me.
We then heard the doorbell rang. "That must be Dada. Let's go now mommy" exited na sabi ni Serenity at hinila na ako palabas ng kwarto. I quickly grabbed my hand bag before going out of the room. I then saw Mark standing down stairs waiting for us.
"Dada!" excited na sigaw ni Serenity at tumakbo pababa ng hagdan.
"Not so fast, baby! Baka mahulog ka" Pagbawal ko sa kanya pero di siya natinag at tumakbo palapit kay Mark. Agad naman siyang binuhat ni Mark ng makababa sa hagdan.
"You miss me already, little one? Saglit lang nawala si Dada, diba?" natatawang sabi ni Mark.
"Syempre naman po Dada" Serenity said and kiss Mark's chicks.
Ng tuluyan na akong makababa ay tiningnan ako ni Mark mula ulo hanggang paa and then game me a smile. "You look stunning" He commented.
"Thank you"
"Shall we go now?" Tanong niya. I just nodded and we headed out and went to the mall.
Now this can be a special day for our first family bonding here in the Philippines. And by the thought that it is our first time going out knowing that Mark and I are dating. So it feels like we are going to have a great day.
